WHAT’S NEW IN EXAMVIEW TEST GENERATOR VERSION 6? Version 6 offers the following new functionality for the Test Generator. See ExamView user guide for specific features available for the Windows and Macintosh versions.

• Cross-Platform Question Bank and Test Files -You can now save tests and banks in ExamView for Windows and open the same files in ExamView for Macintosh—and vice versa. It is no longer necessary to export banks and tests as XML in order to view them in a different operating system.

• Mixed Question Types - You can now group test questions by their question type or mix the different question types on a test or in a question bank. Mixing question types allows you to create tests that more closely resemble state test formats.

• Two-Column Formatting - Tests can now be formatted in one- or two-columns. Use two-column formatting to conserve paper or create tests that more closely match your state test format.

• Publish Tests to ANGEL - While working in the Test Builder, you can now choose to publish a test directly to your ANGEL server (v.6.3 or newer). Multiple server and user accounts can be managed and test settings can be set within ExamView. (WIN)

• Publish Tests and Question Banks to WebCT - While working in the Test Builder or Question Bank Editor, you can now choose to publish a test/question bank directly to your WebCT server. Supported WebCT versions include CE 6.0, Vista 3.x, and Vista 4.x. Multiple server and user accounts can be managed and test settings can be set within ExamView. (WIN)

• Publish Tests and Question Banks to Participating Partners' Testing Systems - While working in the Test Builder or Question Bank Editor, you can now choose to publish a test/question bank directly to our partners' testing systems. Select Publish To from the File menu to publish a test.

• Updated Preferences - The preferences dialog now includes a number of new options and has been redesigned to make finding the options easier. Access the preferences dialog by selecting Preferences from the Edit menu.

• Updated Style Gallery - The Style Gallery has been updated to reflect the latest state test formats. • Updated Welcome Screen - The welcome screens have been updated to make finding your way around

ExamView even easier. WHAT’S NEW IN EXAMVIEW TEST MANAGER VERSION 6? Version 6 offers the following new functionality for the Windows and Macintosh versions of the Test Manager. See ExamView user guide for specific features available for the Windows and Macintosh versions.

• Get Results from CPS Response Pads - ExamView now supports using Classroom Response System response pads to transmit answers directly into the Test Manager. While administering a paper test, student responses can be collected using either the numbered (K-12) IR or Gen2 RF response pads. Engage the class with new technology, save time grading, and get immediate results about student performance. (WIN)

• Import/Export Class Rosters from/to CPS - Share class rosters between ExamView and eInstruction's CPS software using the new import/export format. Existing CPS rosters can easily be imported into the Test Manger and exporting ExamView class rosters out as a CPS database is just as simple. (WIN)

• Import Assignments from CPS - With just a few mouse clicks, assignments taken in CPS can now be imported into Test Manager. Enjoy the flexibility of using CPS to gather results and Test Manager's powerful reporting tools to analyze them. (WIN)

• Item Remediation Summary Report - This new report provides a summary of questions that the class answered incorrectly at a rate higher than the set threshold level. The report pinpoints questions that may require re-teaching and shows teachers the Learning Objectives, Keywords, and State Standards that may need remediation. (MAC)

• Integrated Remediation Content Links - The Item Remediation Summary and Learning Focus (Class: State Standard or Learning Objective) reports now provides links to remedial instruction resources. These reports not only let teachers know where problem areas are, they also provide help addressing them! Content for remedial instruction is provided through netTrekker d.i. (MAC)
