There have been a number of leaks in the domestic hot water piping(DHW) and domestic hot water circulation piping(DHWC) in the buildings at Franklin Correctional Facility.
Department of Corrections and Community Supervision requested for “…The existing copper lines … are in need of replacing. Replace with CPVC where applicable.”

Department of Transportation requested for service, stated “Evaluate existing heating system and provide recommendations and cost estimates for repair/replacement.
The facility was built in the early 60’s with a small addition put on in the mid-90’s. Oil fired heating hot water boiler was installed in the early 60’s.
Based on the drawings, the heating hot water boiler is likely to be replaced because of the new addition and the age, so heat load calculation is needed to size the boiler.
