Intervention• Math block is 85 minutes which allows for instruction in math all
five days for 50 -55 minutes and intervention three days/week in math with the other 30 minutes.
• Intervention Block (FLEX) is for 30 minutes 4 days/week with a focus on reading. If students are at grade level, enrichment occurs.
• After School Intervention – One day/week after school. This will help them with test taking skills, but may not do much for addressing students that have difficulty in basic reading skills since it is only one day/week.
• Please know that interventions happen all day long for many students. The teachers give attention to those that need it for every subject they may not be proficient at. This is really just part of the daily fare at our elementary school.
