It can also set unrealistic job performance expectations. A better strategy is to observe the culture and work flow. Find out the typical office hours and adopt similar hours. If you are worried about getting finished with work on time, come in a few minutes early and stay a few minutes late. 3.Checking email late at night: A survey of workers by Good Technology, a mobile-software firm, found that 50% of people checked work email while in bed. This level of connectivity is bad for your health and productivity. It’s crucial to unplug and decompress so that you can head into work the next day completely refreshed and energized. Q&A with a Randstad Rockstar!We interviewed Charles Johnson, a Talent currently on a temporary assignment through our Lombard, IL branch!

Q: How did you initially hear about Randstad?A: I called around to a few different agencies and Randstad was the most responsive. I was able to come to the office for an interview within a couple days.

Q: Had you worked with any agencies previously?A: No, and I was not familiar with the process, but the Staffing Consultants at Randstad explained it to me.

Q: What was your experience with our interview and hiring process before you were placed at your current role?A: I worked with Randstad in 2007 and then again in 2015. Almost 10 years apart, the process was identical and it went quickly. It was very easy.

Q: After working with us in 2007- what made you work with us again?A: My Profile was still in the system so it was easy to reactivate years later. My first role in 2007 was a temp to hire- I worked as a temp for 8-9 months, and once hired
