. Día 1: Arribo y traslado privado desde Aeropuerto Internacional de Ezeiza a Hotel seleccionado. Por la noche, ingrese al Universo del Tango disfrutando de una Cena y Show de Tango en Buenos Aires. Regreso al Hotel. Alojamiento. . Día 2: Desayuno. City Tour en 2x4. Le proponemos recorrer la historia del tango para acercarnos al origen y al por qué de este fenómeno único en el mundo. Desde el café Tortoni, lugar emblemático de Buenos Aires, comenzaremos la recorrida para conocer durante el día la historia de nuestro arte popular. Visitaremos los barrios donde el tango tuvo su origen: Boedo, La Boca, Pompeya, Barracas y San Telmo, y volveremos al centro porteño. Finalmente, completamos nuestro “Tango Experience” con una pequeña clase demostración de Tango, para vivir en el propio cuerpo el espíritu del 2 x 4. Tiempo libre para almorzar y tomar un breve descanso. Por la tarde, iniciaremos el momento cúlmine de esta experiencia Tanguera. La propuesta consta de tres etapas; la primera es una Clase de Tango en un Estudio de baile de la zona céntrica, por 1.30 hs de duración, en la cual se contempla el nivel de conocimiento de los participantes: principiante, intermedio y avanzado. La clase es impartida por una pareja de profesores con el objetivo, que usted aprenda la estructura básica del tango, los pasos principales y la corrección de los errores más frecuentes en los movimientos. A continuación, el paseo continúa con la cena en un Restaurante tradicional, en donde se realizará una charla amena a modo de presentación sobre la Historia del Tango,

generalmente acompañada de música para ilustrar el tema que se desarrolla. Finalmente y como broche de oro, la visita a una Milonga, un lugar donde los porteños bailan tango de salón, clubes de barrio o centros culturales de colectividades extranjeras que viven en la ciudad, transformados en salones bailables. En ciertas ocasiones, suele haber exhibiciones de baile, orquestas o cantores que harán más amena la velada. En la milonga, usted podrá bailar, acompañados por los profesores o también gozar de un espectáculo auténtico, aprendiendo los códigos y secretos del tango porteño. Regreso al Hotel. Alojamiento. . Day 2: Breakfast. City Tour in 2x4. We suggest reviewing the history of tango to get closer to the origin and the reason of this unique phenomenon in the world. From the emblematic Café Tortoni, we begin our city tour to know the history of our popular art during the day. We will visit the neighborhoods where tango was born: Boedo, La Boca, Pompeya, Barracas and San Telmo, and we’ll end our “Tango Experience” cultural

city-tour with a practical Tango class in our own ballroom, to live the spirit of 2 x 4. Leisure time for lunch and take a short break. During the afternoon, we´ll begin the culminating moment of this Tanguera´s experience. The proposal has three stages; first one is a tango lesson given in a city dance studio that lasts one and a half hour, checking the level of knowledge of the dancers: beginners, intermediates and advanced. Then, the tour continues in a traditional restaurant, where a three-dinner course is served. During dinner, mainly when the dessert is served, a History presentation of the tango is given. Finally visit to a “Milonga”. The milonga is a place where the “porteños” dance ball room tango; in general those are neighborhood clubs or culture centers. In certain occasions, you may find dance exhibits, orchestras or singers that will make your night enjoyable. In the milonga, passengers will be able to dance, accompanied by professors or instead, they will enjoy an authentic show, learning the codes and secrets of the “tango porteño”. Bucear en la historia de la ciudad puede ser una interesante actividad para todos los niños: se ofrecen visitas guiadas que relatan la historia de la Revolución de Mayo, en la Casa Rosada (o Casa de Gobierno) tiene su propio museo con los recuerdos de todos los presidentes argentinos, muy cerca de aquí está el Museo de la Ciudad que exhibe objetos de la vida cotidiana del Buenos Aires antiguo, y bajando hasta el río se pueden visitar la Corbeta Uruguay y el Buque Museo Fragata Sarmiento. Aunque lo más impactante será visitar los túneles subterráneos que parten de la Manzana de las Luces y que en las épocas de la colonia llegaban hasta el puerto. Los chicos adoran el misterio! Un poco más lejos, en Caballito, se puede pasear en el último tranvía porteño. Almuerzo en restaurante temático. Es un paseo ideal para conocer el delta de una manera totalmente diferente, recomendado también para los que reman por primera vez y quieren acercarse al mundo del kayak. La propuesta es vivir un día diferente, recorriendo en kayak los distintos arroyos y ríos de la primera sección del Delta, incluyendo el arroyo Rama Negra y el Arroyo Gaviotas, dos de los más pintorescos y tranquilos que aún quedan en la primera sección. Almuerzo y tiempo libre en un lugar propio en la isla. La salida incluye el equipamiento completo (kayak, remo, chaleco, cubrecockpit, bolsas estancas para objetos personales) y la instrucción básica para remar y sentirse seguro arriba de la embarcación. Luego de la cena Retorno al Hotel. . Día 2: Taller De Cocina. Pasamos a buscarlo por el Hotel y nos dirigimos a la Región de Maipú hasta Finca Flichman. Durante las noches de plenilunio es posible recorrer la pasarela de la Garganta del Diablo y observar un espectáculo tan deslumbrante como único: el nítido arco iris que se forma por la luz de la luna, posado en la refrescante bruma de la catarata. Verdaderamente la magia comienza cuando se llega al parque. Luego de ser recibido, seremos llevados al tren ecológico, para recorrer sus vías hasta la Estación Garganta. Durante el trayecto, que dura 20 minutos, la Selva comienza a regalar sus sonidos y a revelar sus misterios. Una vez que la oscuridad de la noche cubre el firmamento, muchos animales comienzan a buscar alimento. La luminosidad de la Luna permite realizar los paseos durante 5 noches al mes, los cuales se establecen en función de los horarios de salida de la Luna. Existen 3 posibles salidas: a las 20 o 20.45 hs y la cena es posterior al paseo o bien a las 21.30 hs, cenando previamente.

The Jesuit Missions were the product of a cultural joint and real examples of a political and social organization; architecture and art were devoted to decorating the missions, which, after the expulsion of the Jesuit fathers were slowly abandoned by the Indians into ruins, which are currently visited by tourists from around the world.

Cruzaremos el río Uruguay en balsa hasta arribar a Brasil para visitar las ruinas de San Miguel Das Misiones (1634), antigua capital de las siete misiones jesuíticas al sur de éste país. Su iglesia de estilo renacentista fue construida en 1735, con piedras traídas por los nativos desde 20 Km. de distancia. Visita al interesante museo de sitio cuyo acervo incluye piezas de las misiones encontradas en toda la región. Almuerzo. Durante la tarde, regreso a Oberá y alojamiento. . Día 4: Desayuno e inicio del recorrido para la visita a las ruinas de San Ignacio Miní (1632). Esta misión, que alguna vez contó con 3000 habitantes, es la que se encuentra mejor

preservada. Por este motivo, es la más clara representación de la cultura jesuita. Estas ruinas han sido declaradas Patrimonio de la Humanidad por las UNESCO. Almuerzo y traslado hacia Iguazú. En el camino parada para visitar las minas semi preciosas de Wanda. Arribo a Iguazú. Alojamiento. . Día 5: Desayuno y excursión a Cataratas Argentinas. Salida del Hotel para visitar el lado Argentino de las Cataratas del Iguazú, ubicadas dentro del Parque Nacional Iguazú, con una extensión de 67.000 hectáreas; una de las primeras áreas protegidas de América. Las Cataratas están integradas por 275 saltos de agua que se precipitan desde una altura promedio de 70 metros. En este trozo de Selva subtropical es posible observar durante nuestra caminata, la gran variedad de helechos, orquídeas, begonias, aves y mariposas; como así también, la diversidad de especies nativas que alberga este Parque. Nos encaminamos a la “Estación Central” donde nuestra opción es tomar un servicio de trenes que nos lleva hasta la “Estación Cataratas” y/o “Estación Garganta del Diablo”. Otra forma de acceder a los Circuitos de Cataratas (Paseo Superior e Inferior) es a través del Sendero Peatonal “Sendero Verde”, de 600 metros de extensión, que se inicia en el Centro de Atención al Visitante y finaliza en la Estación Cataratas. Desde Quilmes se ascienden las cumbres calchaquíes hasta llegar a los 3.042 msnm en el Abra del Infiernillo. A partir de allí se comienza a descender hasta Tafi del Valle. En Tafí se realiza un breve recorrido y la vista a la Iglesia de La Banda. Luego continuación por la Ruta Nacional N° 307, recorriendo la Quebrada de los Sosa una zona de abundante vegetación (yungas) hasta llegar a Tucumán. 240Km of rough roads and 74Km of sealed roads, together with a maximum altitude of 2,450m, transform this trip into a real challenge. The isolated High Andes offer dramatic landscapes, from arid and dry atmosphere on the Argentine side to the humid forest on the Chilean side, hard up-hills and incredible down-hills. A good shape is necessary to enjoy this trip, since you should be able to pedal 50km a day on flat ground. The stages will be shorter but strong head winds, long up-hills and stone paths will make the trip more interesting. On your way back, you will explore the Aconcagua area and enjoy a rafting down Rio Mendoza. Crossing the Andes from Argentina to Chile is a unique experience; once completed, you will be rewarded with a huge sense of achievement. La mejor manera de explorar esta fantástica región con una diversidad de paisajes: lagos, volcanes nevados, aguas termales, cascadas, densos bosques y pequeños pueblos andinos. What a great adventure! The best way to explore this fantastic region with a diversity of landscapes: lakes, snowy volcanoes, hot streams, waterfalls, dense forests and tiny Andean villages. You will be traveling well off the tourist trails on rough roads, experiencing the unique atmosphere of the Valdivian forest, a beautiful area covered by monkey puzzle trees, and abundant wildlife such as the king of the Andes: the condor. Though the cycling is not strenuous, it involves up-hills of 15Km on rough roads and some wind, so we believe this trip will appeal to keen cyclists. El acceso a esta isla por tierra solo es posible durante la marea baja (la diferencia entre alta y baja marea es de 5 metros). Los troncos petrificados son enormes, con el brillo característico de ópalo. Dependiendo de las condiciones meteorológicas se puede organizar para visitar el bosque una combinación de jeeps y bicicletas. El almuerzo se sirve la Estancia Las Mercedes. Después de algunos tradicionales “mates” caminamos hasta el manantial de agua que alimenta el pueblo. A través de los canales de riego se provee de agua a un enorme huerto. de lana caliente e iniciaremos nuestro paseo. Caminata de 30 minutos. Un caldero al fuego y una sopa nos calentará el alma. Cada invitado cocina aquí su propia brocheta. Con una copa de vino tinto escucharemos historias de las rocas y cóndores. Luego volvemos a nuestro punto de partida. Al llegar veremos como se preparara nuestro próximo plato: un pastel de choclo. Disfrutaremos además variedad de tradicionales postres caseros y un exquisito vino dulce. Cruzamos el río Limay de nuevo para volver a nuestro vehículo y continuamos viaje a Bariloche. Alojamiento. . Una vez en Pampa Linda, y después de una breve charla con nuestros guías de montaña, comenzamos la caminata de aproximadamente 1 ! horas hasta la base del glaciar Castaño Overo, un glaciar colgante, que nos da la posibilidad de ver las cascadas e incluso algunas piezas de hielo que caen. In the middle of the Patagonian steppe, you will see fossilized remains of the ancient forests. The huge tree trunks are now petrified, with the characteristic glow of opal. Depending on the weather

conditions it can be arranged to visit the forest in a combination of jeep and bikes. Lunch will be served at Las Mercedes Ranch. After some traditional “mates” we will walk to the water spring that feeds the village. Through canals and irrigation it provides water to a huge orchard. Return to Bahia Bustamante. The host will receive us with a shot of specially spiced hot chocolate, warm wool ponchos, and we will be all set to start our 30 minutes walk. A cauldron at the fire and a soul warming soup. Each guest will cook his own brochette. With a glass of wine we will told stories of rocks and condors. Then we get back to the departing point. On arrival we will find the host preparing next course of our meal, a corn pie. Then we will taste variety of traditional homemade desserts and an exquisite sweet wine. We cross the Limay River again to return to our Vehicle, and then drive back to Bariloche. Accommodation. . Day 15: We start early morning driving to Pampa Linda, two hours away from Bariloche. Once in Pampa Linda, and after

a brief talk with our mountain guides, we begin the trek of about 1 ! hours until the base of the glacier Castaño Overo, a hanging glacier, which gives us the possibility to see waterfalls and even some pieces of ice falling. Unos pocos kilómetros dentro de los pastizales de las famosas Pampas, encontrará cigüeñas americanas, cormoranes neotropicales e incluso los más grandes ñandúes. Llegando al Océano Atlántico, visitará un lugar donde migran pájaros de Norteamérica; podrá ver cinco especies de cormoranes, pingüinos magallánicos y pingüinos saltadores de roca (o de pecho amarillo). Ya en la Patagonia, tendrá la oportunidad de observar su impresionante riqueza ornitológica viendo a los únicos cormoranes de patas coloradas y gaviotas cocineras en las costas marinas, hasta el magnífico cóndor, el águila mora y los flamencos chilenos y el somormujo tobiano (descubierto en el lugar en 1974), cerca de la cordillera, o el albatros de ceja negra y el carpintero magallánico en el fin del mundo. El norte le ofrecerá una rica variedad de pájaros selváticos como los loros de pecho turquesa y los pavos americanos de patas negruzcas, o los pájaros del altiplano, como los flamencos, las avocetas andinas y las cercetas. This special tour was designed to cover all the representative bird areas of Argentina. Just from Buenos Aires, you will start watching wattled jacanas, cukoos and rosy-billed pochards. A few kilometers into the wide grasslands of the famous Pampas you will discover maguari storks, neotropic cormorants and even the greater rheas. Arriving at the Atlantic Ocean, you will visit a place where birds from North America migrate; you will be able to see five species of cormorants, Magellanic penguins and rockhooper penguins. Once in Patagonia, you will have the opportunity to observe its impressive bird life from watching the unique red-lgged cormorants and kelp gulls at the sea shores, to the magnificent condor, the mora eagle, the Chilean flamingos and endemic hooded grebe (discovered in 1974 on the place) near the Andes range, or the fantastic black-bowed albatross and the Magellanic woodpecker down at the World’s End. San Martín de los Andes le mostrará un buen ejemplo del bosque templado sudamericano en el que encontrará el pehuén (pino chileno), la lenga y el coihue, una caña local entre líquenes, musgos y hongos. Por último en el Parque Nacional de Tierra del Fuego, descubrirá la orquídea magallánica, un bérbero local. También hay turbales dominados por el genus sphagnum.

This tour is specially designed to give a general and complete knowledge of the varied local species. Due to its extension, Argentina offers a wide range of phitogeographical regions. The marsh area of Iberá in the Northeast of Argentina was flooded thousand years ago by the Paraná River, and nowadays it allows local flora to procreate away from the industrial civilization. In the rainforest, you will find the schinopsis balansae (quebracho), the aspidosperma, the tabebuia, the prosopis nigra (algarrobo negro) and the purple air cactus. Also worth seeing are the ferns floating island among crystal clear waters with underwater vegetation: swamp mallow (hibiscus), giant water lilies (irupé), water hyacinth, water snowflakes (ninfoides humboldtianas), water poppy (hidrocleis nymphoides). In the

tropical region of the Iguazú Falls, you will discover many kinds of air plants such as: bromeliads, orchids, cacti, peperomias, mosses, ferns and giant philodendrons. In north-western Argentina, the southern walnut tree (junglans australis) and the tipuana tipu in its original habitat are some outstanding species. San Martin de los Andes will show you a good sample of the South American tempered forest where you will find the pehuén (Chilean pine), the southern beech and the colihue, a local bamboo among lichens, mosses and fungi. At last, down at the World’s End, in the Tierra del Fuego National Park, you will discover the Magellan orchid, a local barberry. There are also peat bogs dominated by the genus sphagnum.

El mismo propone embarcarse en el Crucero Santa Cruz para recorrer los diferentes canales del Lago Argentino, en el Parque Nacional Los Glaciares. La propuesta permite vivenciar la Patagonia de una manera inigualable. Almorzar frente al glaciar Perito Moreno, pasar la noche a bordo del crucero en pleno corazón del Parque y caminar en Puesto Las Vacas, son sólo algunas de las exclusivas actividades que ofrece el programa. El Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, declarado por la UNESCO “Patrimonio Mundial de la Humanidad”, alberga el Campo de Hielo Patagónico más grande del mundo luego de la Antártida, desde donde descienden 47 glaciares mayores. Durante el recorrido se podrán observar los glaciares más reconocidos del lugar: el glaciar Upsala, el glaciar Spegazzini y el deslumbrante glaciar Perito Moreno.

Ruta de navegación - Itinerario detallado

.�Día 1: el embarque será en el Puerto Bahía Tranquila (Punta Bandera) a las 19,30, donde la tripulación del Crucero Santa Cruz dará la bienvenida a los pasajeros. Alrededor de las 20,30 comenzará la navegación hacia Bahía Alemana (en la Península de Avellaneda), donde el crucero se detendrá para pasar la noche. Se servirá la cena de bienvenida y se presentará el itinerario de la navegación y actividades a realizarse durante los días siguientes. .�Día 2: por la mañana se comenzará a navegar con rumbo Noroeste, pasando por Punta Avellaneda y Boca del Diablo -el paso más estrecho del lago-, mientras los pasajeros disfrutan de un delicioso desayuno. Luego de una hora de navegación por el Brazo Norte, la sucesión de témpanos de los más variados colores y formas indicará la proximidad del Glaciar Upsala. Dependiendo de la

cantidad y disposición de los témpanos en su frente, la navegación permitirá un acercamiento impactante a uno de los dos frentes de este glaciar, que cuenta con un ancho de 4 Km., paredes de unos 60 metros promedio de altura y una superficie total de casi 860 km2. Alrededor del mediodía se navegará hacia el Canal Spegazzini, para contemplar los glaciares Seco, Heim y Spegazzini. Este último impacta por su belleza y abrupta caída; es alimentado por tres glaciares menores y sus paredes frontales alcanzan entre 80 y 135 metros (las más altas del parque). Frente al glaciar Spegazzini se detendrá el Santa Cruz para brindar a sus pasajeros un exclusivo almuerzo, disfrutando de una vista panorámica inolvidable. Más tarde se emprenderá la marcha hacia Puesto Las Vacas, una bahía sumamente tranquila y reparada dentro del Canal Spegazzini. Allí se realizará el primer desembarque, para proponer a los pasajeros descubrir este bellísimo lugar. Aprovechando las últimas horas de luz se pondrá proa hacia el Seno Mayo, para llegar antes del anochecer a Bahía Toro, donde se detendrá el Santa Cruz para pasar la noche. Para concluir la jornada se servirá la cena en este encantador lugar del Parque Nacional Los Glaciares. .�Día 3: al llegar la mañana y luego del sabroso desayuno preparado por la tripulación abordo, se realizará un nuevo descenso en el Seno Mayo, para poder apreciar y conocer en detalle características del bosque andino magallánico y de la fauna del lugar. Más tarde se emprenderá la navegación hacia el Canal de los Témpanos, por el cual se seguirá rumbo sur hasta llegar al tan esperado Glaciar Perito Moreno. Se recorrerán los 2,5 Km. de su frente norte, apreciando sus paredes frontales que alcanzan los 60 metros promedio de altura. Frente a este espectáculo majestuoso

.�Day 1: Boarding will take place in Bahía Tranquila Harbor (Punta Bandera) at 19:30, where the crew of the Santa Cruz cruise will welcome the passengers. At around 20:30, navigation will start towards Bahía Alemana (in Peninsula Avellaneda), where the cruise will stop to spend the night. Welcome dinner will be served and the navigation itinerary and the activities to be held will be introduced..�Day 2: During the morning, we will start navigating northwest, across Punta Avellaneda and Boca del Diablo - the narrower part of the lake - while the passengers enjoy a delicious breakfast. After an hour of navigation across the Brazo Norte, the series of ice floes of the most varied colors and shapes will indicate the proximity to the Upsala glacier. Depending on the quantity and layout of the ice floes, navigation will allow an impressive approach to one of the two fronts of this glacier, which is 4km wide, has up to 60 meter high walls and a total area of almost 860 km2. At about midday, we will navigate towards the Spegazzini channel to contemplate the Seco, Heim and Spegazzini glaciers. The latter produces an impact

because of its beauty and abrupt collapse; it is nurtured by other three minor glaciers and its front walls reach between 80 and 135 meters high (the highest of the park). The Santa Cruz Cruise will stop in front of the Spegazzini glacier to provide the passengers an exclusive lunch, enjoying an unforgettable panoramic view. Later, we will start moving towards Puesto Las Vacas, an extremely quiet bay within the Spegazzini channel. There, we will disembark for the first time to let the passengers discover this beautiful place. Taking advantage of the last hours of daylight, we will head to Seno Mayo to reach Bahía Toro before the evening, where the cruise will stop to spend the night. At the end of the day, dinner will be served in this charming place in the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares. .�Day 3: during the morning and after a tasty breakfast cooked by the crew on board, we will disembark again at Seno Mayo, for the passengers to appreciate and know in detail the characteristics of the Andean woods and the fauna of the place. Later, we will head to the Canal de los Témpanos, going south until we reach the eagerly awaited Perito Moreno glacier. We will travel 2.5 km by its north front, which walls reach an average of 60 meters high. Farewell lunch will be served in front of this majestic scenery. At 16:00, the cruise will reach the Bahía Tranquila Harbor (Punta Bandera), which is the end of the journey.

.�Día 2 · Bahía Ainsworth - Islotes Tuckers .Con las primeras luces del alba, la navegación continuará a través del Seno Almirantazgo, hasta llegar a las inmediaciones del Glaciar Marinelli en la Bahía Ainsworth, en plena Cordillera Darwin y dentro del Parque Nacional Alberto De Agostini. Aprenderemos como resurge la vida después del retiro de los hielos. Emprenderemos una caminata para descubrir un dique de castores y el maravilloso bosque magallánico subantártico que lo rodea. En la playa intentaremos avistar elefantes marinos. No es posible garantizar

dicho avistamiento puesto que la ubicación precisa de la colonia es impredecible. Continuando la navegación, después del almuerzo visitaremos los Islotes Tuckers donde avistaremos pingüinos magallánicos (ave que vive exclusivamente en el hemisferio sur) y cormoranes desde los botes Zodiac. En Septiembre y Abril esta excursión se reemplaza por Bahía Brookes donde desembarcaremos y realizaremos una caminata cercana al glaciar.

.�Día 3 · Glaciar Pia.Navegaremos por el brazo norweste del Canal Beagle para ingresar en el fiordo Pía y desembarcar cerca del glaciar del mismo nombre. Iniciaremos una excursión hacia un mirador que ofrece excelentes condiciones para la observación del cordón montañoso, donde se origina este impresionante glaciar y todo su desplazamiento hasta caer al mar. Después de esta inolvidable experiencia, continuaremos nuestra excursión bajo la majestuosa mirada de la “Avenida de los Glaciares”.

.�Día 4 · Cabo de Hornos - Bahía Wulaia. Navegaremos por el Canal Murray y Bahía Nassau para arribar al Parque Nacional Cabo de Hornos donde desembarcaremos si las condiciones del tiempo lo permiten. .�Día 2 · Cabo de Hornos · Bahía Wulaia.Navegaremos por el Canal Murray y Bahía Nassau para arribar al Parque Nacional Cabo de Hornos donde desembarcaremos si las condiciones del tiempo lo permiten. Por la mañana navegaremos los desolados Canales Brecknock y Ocasión y por la tarde el Canal Cockburn para fondear después del almuerzo en Seno Chico. Desde este punto desembarcaremos en botes Zodiac para adentrarnos en el Fiordo Alakaluf donde apreciaremos hermosas cascadas y los glaciares Piloto y Nena. Aprenderemos la formación de los glaciares y su influencia en la abrupta geografía de los canales Fuego-Patagónicos.

.�Día 4 · Isla Magdalena · Punta Arenas.A primera hora de la mañana, si las condiciones del tiempo lo permiten, desembarcaremos en la Isla Magdalena, en el Estrecho de Magallanes, lugar de detención obligada para el abastecimiento de los antiguos navegantes y descubridores. Esta Isla es el hogar de una inmensa colonia de pingüinos magallánicos, que podremos apreciar en nuestra caminata hacia el faro, que actualmente guía a las distintas embarcaciones en su paso por el estrecho. En Septiembre y Abril esta excursión se reemplaza por un desembarco en Isla Marta donde podremos avistar lobos marinos desde los botes Zodiac. Finalizada nuestra visita terminaremos nuestro viaje en Punta Arenas, donde desembarcaremos a las 11:30 horas.

.�Day 1 · Punta Arenas. Check in at Magallanes 990, Punta Arenas, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cruise ship boarding at 6:00 p.m. The Captain and crew give a welcome cocktail reception on board. Afterwards, the ship departs for “the uttermost part of the earth”. Our excursion will take us through the Strait of Magellan and Beagle Channel to explore one of the most breathtaking wilderness regions in the world:

Southern Patagonia, and Tierra del Fuego. We have just embarked on a Great Adventure!

.�Day 2 · Ainsworth Bay · Tuckers Islets.At dawn, we continue navigating through Almirantazgo Sound, arriving at Ainsworth Bay, inside the Alberto De Agostini National Park. From a distance we may see the Marinelli Glacier which descends from the Darwin Mountain Range, and we will learn how life begins after the retreat of the ice. We will also take a walk to discover a beaver dam in the marvelous subpolar Magellanic forest. On the beach, we will try to see elephant seals, but we cannot guarantee this as the precise location of the colony is unpredictable. Later, we sail to Tuckers Islets, and after lunch we board the Zodiac boats to view Magellanic Penguins (which only live in the Southern Hemisphere), and Cormorants. In September and April this excursion is replaced by Brookes Bay where we land for a short walk to approach a glacier. .�Day 3 · Pia Glacier. We navigate along the main part of the Beagle Channel to reach Pia Fjord, where we disembark near Pia Glacier. We take a short hike to a look-out point with a spectacular view of the entire glacier tongue, stretching from high in the mountains all the way to the sea. After this unforgettable experience, we continue sailing along the northwest arm of the Beagle Channel through majestic “Glacier Alley”.

.�Day 3 · Piloto and Nena Glaciers. In the morning we sail through the desolate Brecknock and Ocasion channels, to reach Cockburn Channel in the afternoon. After lunch, we arrive at Chico Sound and disembark in Zodiac boats to explore Alakaluf Fjord, and to see its beautiful waterfalls and observe the Piloto and Nena glaciers from the sea. We will learn about the formation of glaciers and their influence in the abrupt geography of the region’s channels.

.�Day 4 · Magdalena Island · Punta Arenas. Early in the morning, we go ashore on Magdalena Island (weather permitting). Located in the Strait of Magellan, it was an essential source of supplies for navigators and explorers in the past. The island is inhabited by an immense colony of Magellanic Penguins which can be sighted during our walk to a lighthouse, which guides ships on their way through the strait. In September and April this excursion is replaced by a Zodiac boat ride at Marta Island to observe sea lions. After our visit, we sail to Punta Arenas, disembarking at 11:30 a.m.

Sólo ofrece cabinas dobles, cama Queen o Twin. Todas ellas tienen Baño privado con ducha o tina, Circuito cerrado de TV, Calefacción con termostato y Closet. .�Día 1 · Ushuaia, Argentina.Embarque en el M/N Antarctic Dream. A bordo recibirá la bienvenida por parte del staff de expedición y será ubicado en su cabina previamente asignada. El check-in empezará a partir de las 14:30 hrs.

.�Día 2 a 3 · Paso Drake.Durante la navegación y desde la cubierta tendremos la oportunidad de admirar la vastedad del Paso Drake. Albatros errantes, petreles del

cabo y otras aves marinas escoltarán la nave mientras cruza por el famoso paso descubierto por el corsario inglés Sir Francis Drake en el siglo XVI. En 1819, el explorador británico William Smith describió a las Islas Shetland del Sur como un sitio yermo, cubierto de nieve y poblado de focas.

.�Día 4 · Isla Aitcho.La isla Aitcho nos entregará una visión preliminar de los que es Antártica y será nuestra puerta de ingreso al continente blanco. La isla Aitcho es la mayor de las Islas Shetland del Sur. Habrá un desembarco en Caleta Potter. Por la tarde se realizará un desembarco en la Isla Aitcho, la cual pertenece a las Islas Shetland y se encuentra entre las islas Greenwich y Robert, donde se puede observar algunos mamíferos marinos. Continuaremos nuestra navegación cruzando el Estrecho de Bransfield y el Estrecho de Gerlache para ingresar así a Bahía Andvord donde se encuentra la Caleta Neko.

.�Día 5 · Península Antártica · Caleta Neko. Además del magnífico escenario de montañas, nieve y hielo, en la Península Antártica podrá observar una amplia variedad de vida silvestre. Existe una diversidad de aves, lo cual permite la observación de gaviotas, gaviotines, petreles del cabo y cormoranes. Entre los mamíferos marinos que se pueden ver se cuentan focas, orcas y ballenas. El plan incluye el primer desembarco en el Continente Blanco (Neko Bay) y un desembarco en Puerto Lockroy (Isla Goudier). La bahía Neko fue descubierta por el explorador belga, Adrián de Gerlache. Puerto

Lockroy se encuentra cerca de la isla Wiencke, en la Península Antártica y tuvo su importancia histórica como base de la Operación Tabarin.

.�Día 6 · Bahía Paraíso · Isla Cuverville. En la mañana se realizará un desembarco o crucero en zodiac dependiendo del clima en Bahía Paraíso. Por la tarde visitaremos la Isla Cuverville que además de sus increíbles paisajes, ofrece la posibilidad de ver y disfrutar de una de las mayores colonias de pingüinos Papua y Skuas. Esta isla rocosa está ubicada en el norte del Canal Errera, entre la Isla Rongé y la Península Arctowski.

.�Día 7 · Pleneau · Isla Petermann:.Navegaremos hacia el sur por el angosto Canal Lemaire, conocido por ser uno de los lugares más hermosos del mundo. Si el hielo y clima lo permiten, tendrá la oportunidad de visitar la Isla Petermann, lugar más austral de nuestra expedición. En la isla Petermann haremos un desembarco, donde se encuentra la colonia más austral de los pingüinos Papua (Gentoo) que anidan junto a otras aves. El área de Pleneau presenta una oportunidad para realizar un impresionante crucero en zodiac donde podremos apreciar asombrosos hielos.

.�Día 8 · Isla Decepción · Caleta Balleneros · Caleta Péndulo. Continuaremos nuestra navegación hacia la Isla Decepción, principal volcán activo de la cuenca marginal del estrecho de

Bransfield, ubicada al noroeste de la Península Antártica. Por la mañana intentaremos desembarcar en Caleta Balleneros y en Caleta Péndulo en donde podrá vivir la experiencia única de darse un baño. Por la tarde desembarcaremos en Hannah Point (Isla Livingston). Hannah Point es uno de los lugares que ofrece la mayor diversidad de fauna Antártica.

.�Día 9 a 10 · Paso Drake. Dejaremos atrás la Península Antártica para navegar hacia el norte a través del Paso de Drake. Momento para revisar las notas, asistir a conferencias, recordar algunas aventuras de la semana y disfrutar de nuestra exquisita gastronomía a bordo, mientras el M/N Antarctic Dream navega de regreso a Ushuaia.

.�Día 11 · Ushuaia, Argentina.Luego del desayuno se dará por terminada esta emocionante expedición. Se procederá al desembarque en el puerto, aproximadamente a las 09:00 hrs.

Antarctic Dream Expedition (11 Days / 10 Nights)

This expedition offers you the ideal introduction to the Great White Continent. Departing from and finishing in the port of Ushuaia, we take in the most exciting sights of the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula. Our program is oriented towards the viewing of wildlife.

.�Day 1 · Ushuaia, Argentina. Passengers board the M/V Antarctic Dream where you will be greeted by our Expedition Leader and staff and shown to your cabin. Check-in will begin at 2:30 pm on departure day.

.�Day 2 a 3 · Drake Passage. Wandering albatrosses, storm petrels and other seabirds will escort the vessel as you sail south across this famous passage named after Sir Francis Drake, the 16thcentury English navigator. We will continue towards the Antarctic Convergence, a biological barrier where cold polar waters sink beneath the warmer waters of the more temperate zone. In 1819, the British explorer William Smith described the South Shetland Islands as “barren and covered with snow, with seals in abundance”.

.�Day 4 · Aitcho Island. Aitcho Island will give us an early taste of what the Antarctic really is. It is the biggest island of the South Shetlands, where we will disembark in Potter Bay. In the afternoon we will disembark at Aitcho Island which is in between Greenwich and Robert Islands. We will continue with the crossing of the Bransfield and Gerlache Straits to enter Andvord Bay where we find Neko Bay.

.�Day 5 · Antarctic Peninsula & Neko Bay.Besides the magnificent scenery of mountains, snow and ice, in Antarctica you can expect to see a wide variety of the native wildlife. Other birds to look out for are blue-eyed shags, gulls, cape petrels, skuas, snowy sheathbills and Antarctic terns. Marine mammals that you are likely to see include Weddell crab-eaters and leopard seals while orcas, humpback and mink whales may be spotted at close range. The program includes your first landing on the White Continent (Neko Bay) and another on Port Lockroy (Gaudier Island). Neko Bay was discovered by Adrian de Gerlache, a Belgian explorer. Port Lockroy is close to Wiencke Island in the Antarctic Peninsula and was the principle base of the 1944 Tabarin Operation - the scientific research included the Antarctic’s first ionosphere measurements and also the first recording of an atmospheric whistle.

.�Day 6 · Paradise Bay · Cuverville Island.At this point of our program we will begin our return voyage. During the morning and, stressing again that if weather permits, we will disembark or use our zodiacs in Paradise Bay. In the evening we will visit Cuverville Island. Beside its dramatic scenery

it is home to one of the largest colony of Gentoo penguins and skuas. This rocky Robert Islands. We will continue with the crossing of the Bransfield and Gerlache Straits to enter Andvord Bay where we find Neko Bay.

.�Day 7 · Pleneau · Petermann Island.We sail south through the narrow Lemaire Channel who’s high, sheer cliffs suggest that no passage could be found. Once through the channel, known as one of the most beautiful places in the world, and provided climate and ice conditions are good enough, we will be able to visit Petermann Island which is the most southern land point of our expedition. Here we will disembark and will be able to see the most southern colony of Gentoo penguins which nest near our landing spot. On this island we will also be able to see a colony of beautiful Adelei penguins, skuas and blue-eyed shags. At Pleneau we should have the opportunity to take our zodiacs and visit impressive ice formations.

.�Day 8 · Deception Island · Whaler’s Bay · Pendulum Cove.We continue sailing to Deception Island which is the largest active volcano in the area at the northwest side of the Peninsula. During the morning we will try to disembark in Whaler’s Bay and Pendulum Cove where you can live the unique experience of swimming in this water. In the afternoon we will disembark at Hannah Point (Livingstone Island). This is one of the best places in the Antarctic to see fauna and we should see Chinstrap and Gentoo penguins, giant petrels, Wilson petrels, skuas and blue-eyed shags. With luck, we should also see seelephants.

.�Days 9 and 10 · Drake Passage. Today, we will leave the Antarctic and head north back across the Drake Passage. Now in Whaler’s Bay and Pendulum Cove where you can live the unique experience of swimming in this water. In the afternoon we will disembark at Hannah Point (Livingstone Island). This is one of the best places in the Antarctic to see fauna and we should see Chinstrap and Gentoo penguins, giant petrels, Wilson petrels, skuas and blue-eyed shags. With luck, we should also see seaelephants. Is the chance to compare and revise notes and dwell on the adventures of the past week, to take in the final lectures and to enjoy the delicious gastronomy on board as you return to Ushuaia.

.�Day 11 · Ushuaia, Argentina. After an early breakfast we will land at 9:00 am and bid farewell to our guests. Thus ends an incredible and unique expedition.
