2. Pocket ScienceThere’s no chance of putting this shirt in the wrong drawer on laundry day. Personalize your flannel comfies with a name or a monogram by using fusible web to secure flannel letters to the pocket. For a little added pop, try using a coordinating color for the letters.

3. Pretty in PlaidGive your little darling the loungewear she’ll beg to wear all day long. We followed Simplicity 1504 for this double-the-plaid shirt, but we modified it to add ruffles down the front. We went with blue and green tartan to complement the red, but any number of our made-for-matching flannels would look great.

Slip into these snuggly flannel slippers, and you’re ready to relax! Use your favorite flannel (try one that matches your hand-sewn loungewear) and McCall’s 6449 to whip up these sew-chic booties. And if your little lady wants a little something extra, stitch on a

glitzy gold bow (Wearables Department).

A girl’s always gotta look her best—even when she’s lounging by the fire with a good book or her furry friend. So doll up her flannels with a little bit of bling. We just sewed a strip of flannel to the pocket and hand stitched a row of sequins on top.

If your little monkeys have their own ideas about style, let them help you pick the perfect flannel for their sweet loungewear separates. For the shirts, we used fusible web to make our own flannel iron-ons. For the pants, we used McCall’s 6458 (stripes) and Simplicity 1573 (clouds).
