Today is Wednesday, January 24, 2018 The following students completed for FBLA and placed at the district level : Meghan Santos - 1st place in Future Business Leader – moving on to states Shea Dwyer – 1st place in Broadcast Journalism – moving on to states Riley Hoag – 1st place in Intro to IT – moving on to states Ephraim Drennan – 1st place in Intro to Financial Math – moving on to states Ge’Naya Berry-Hughes – 3rd place in Organizational Leadership. We also placed 2nd in the name tag contest, and placed 3rd in the Scrapbook and Poster contest. THS was very well represented in FBLA District 10. Celebrate Literacy Week starts today with our “Get Caught Reading” activity. If you are caught reading for enjoyment by a teacher, they will turn in a ticket with your name and you will be eligible for the gift card drawing on Friday. Meghan Santos - 1st place in Future Business Leader moving on to states

Celebrate Literacy Week starts today with our Get Caught Reading activity. If you are caught reading for enjoyment by a teacher, they will turn in a ticket with your name and you will be eligible for the gift card drawing on Friday.

Any 10th grade student who would like to Dual Enroll next year should see Mr. Stevens in guidance for a PERT test form.

Florida Polytechnic College will be here on February 26th during both lunches in the Guidance Office.

2002 - John Walker Lindh appeared in court for the first time concerning the charges that he conspired to kill Americans abroad and aided terrorist groups. Lindh had been taken into custody by U.S. Marines in Afghanistan.

2003 - The U.S. Department of Homeland Security began operations under Tom Ridge.
