“Your interests first, always!” So goes the motto of real estate duo Holly Croskey and Bob Day, also known as Team Bob and Holly of the Twin Cities area’s RE/MAX Results office. Both motivated by a personalized, client-centric approach to their work, Bob and Holly offer multiple decades of combined experience, as well as a multi-generational base of returning clients. Both Holly and Bob bring applicable professional back- grounds to their practice. Growing up in a family of architects, builders, and property managers, exposure to the real estate world are some of Holly’s earliest memories. As for Bob, a long career in retail management prepared him for an industry oriented toward client care and satisfaction. Today, Holly and Bob have joined forces to put their respective experiences to work. “Holly and I share a sincerity in our work,” Bob explains, “and that’s part of why we were drawn to each other as business partners. Sales is an important part of what we do, but our clients think of us first as people they can confide in, that they trust will work in their best interests.” Team Bob and Holly serve a variety of clients—from first time homebuyers and family trade-ups, to historic homes and the burgeoning Downtown Minneapolis condo market. “We’ve really had the privilege of growing up with our clients,” Bob recounts. “As individuals, we worked with many first time homebuyers twenty-five years ago whose children have now come to work with us as they buy their first home.” To Team Bob and Holly, the heart of their work lies in the relationships they build. “In buying or selling a home, our clients undertake a huge personal milestone that we’re lucky enough to be part of,” Holly says. “ It’s a big step in their lives. To be called upon as a trusted advisor, to be part of this pivotal point—we feel so privileged to be part of it.” Nicknamed by some of their clients, “Blazing Bob” and “Bubbly Sunshine,” Bob and Holly each balance each other’s approach with enthusiasm, attentiveness, and respect for those they serve. “We develop long-lasting relationships with our clients,” Bob says. “If there’s ever been times that I wonder am I doing what I’m meant to do, I just remember the relationships that I’ve been entrusted with and the friends that I’ve made; that’s what it’s all about.” In accord, Holly too reflects on the warm, referral-based clientele they’ve come to call their friends: “The greatest privilege I can imagine is when a client tells me, Holly, I trust you. To me, there’s no greater honor I could receive.” As another expression of her passion for the industry, Holly rehabs homes in her spare time, scouring the local antique and thrift shops for creative treasure hunting. Bob enjoys spending his off hours in the great outdoors of the Minnesota lakes. Together, they also make it a point to give back to the community they each call home, contributing to Bolder Options, a local youth-mentoring program. They also give to the Children’s Miracle Network, as well to Homes for Heroes, providing housing assistance to U.S. Veterans. At the end of the day, the motivation for Team Bob and Holly is serving others. Together they’ve earned a track record for unmatched expertise and successful results, but creating meaningful relationships is the soul of their approach. “Our process is about way more than just buying or selling houses,” Team Bob and Holly reflect. “We are counselors in so many ways, and are truly lifelong confidantes.
