Research Questions:To what extent do interactive games increase physical activity levels as compares to traditional exercise?
How can interactive games be used to encourage students to exercise?
Methodology:-Electronic questionnaire for interest/scanning-Split into two groups: interactive gaming (DDR on Wii) traditional exercise (jog around the track)-30 mins three times a week for ten weeks-Constant heart rate monitoring during activity-Weekly survey/journal recording additional exercise-Analysis of heart rate before and after to determine fitness change
Goals:-Prove interactive game is as effective a workout as traditional exercise-Increase exercise on college campuses through promotion of interactive gaming-Design interactive exercise room in ERC
