measured course. A brief clinic on open water swimming will be pro-

Hello there, I’m writing you today to give you some info on how you can assist me with my Missions Trip to Africa, I am writing you today on a personal level. Many of you know that I have done many charitable bike rides and runs for causes

from Breast Cancer to Leukemia to Multiple Sclerosis. Every year, the team I’m on (Grupetto USA) collects the most donations in South Florida as we ride our 150 mile tribute ride to honor those who can’t. I am riding again this year in May and have already

collected my funds necessary to ride.

I’m writing to you because I have a new calling that is far more important and deserving of my time and efforts. I find myself needing to reach beyond my normal contributors who commit to other causes faithfully. Hence the message to you today

Short of a full testimony, I found myself at a point in my life where I felt unfulfilled. My relationships were all superficial includ-ing my children after my divorce. I sought a greater purpose in my life and gave my life to Christ back in September last year. In

short. Our Church had many resources to assist me and the blessings were easy to find. These past few months have turned my life around and I am now so much more fulfilled with everything and everyone in my life. I feel so blessed and content now that

I want to reach out and give back in a way I never have before. I have volunteered with our soup kitchen and community volun-

www.onecity.ws in Mbale, Uganda Africa. I have felt a calling to serve in this manner and am truly looking forward to being humbled by this experience.

Our work there is primarily teaching self sufficiency. Training the village on basic first aid, CPR, Life saving, sanitation and femi-

nine hygiene is our primary mission. All this are possible through God and there has been a great measure of progress to date. In addition, I have a great resource in the Biofuels industry who is teaching me both the science and practical application for

creating a stabilized ethanol that the villagers can use for cooking. They deforest quite a bit of their resources for cooking and that way of thinking must be altered for their survival. I have been coordinating with the Missionary there so that during my two

week visit we can build a modest operation that will create ethanol from the remains of the sugar cane harvesting that is done near by. In addition we have planted Jatropha plants which yield a nut that renders almost 30% oil which can be used to create

a Biodiesel for creating electricity. This is all very exciting however the time frame on this is 3-5 years. I have dedicated myself

to return to see this come to fruition. All this of course takes time and money. I have raise some of the funds necessary and am collecting used running shoes to bring

over. I do need to raise more money ($5000) which is due by May 1st 2012 and am writing this letter to you with prayers that any sponsorship or financial assistance you may be able to give would be greatly appreciated. If I am unable to travel for any

reason on this missions trip, your contributions will be used for this mission, and you will receive tax credit. If you have any
