We intend to use bread �to help break the cycle �of poverty and violence �left in the vacuum of �Joseph Kony’s LRA insurgency in Uganda.

Bread For Uganda combines microfinance with local NGO support and education to help lift the more than 66,000 children left behind. We help pull them out of poverty and violence by providing them with a marketable skill – farming wheat.

Our aim is create an virtuous cycle that institutionalizes �giving back: where participants are trained not only to farm, but to become mentors to other children and achieve �far-reaching network effects.
