Project - Video

Prior Skills My minor project is a video

I have very little skills in video editing. I know how to create a video on iMovie using still images

Import Videos into iMovie

The first thing that I learnt to do was to Bluetooth a video file from my phone to my laptop

I then dragged it into iPhoto to import it

I was then able to update the video files in my iMovie to transfer the video files across in order to create a video

Cropping the video clips

I then cropped the video clips to the parts that I wanted in my video, then dragging them into the media area

Transitions I then added different transitions in-between the different video clips

I then used the precision editor so that the transitions were timing correctly and didn’t cut of the video too quickly or linger for too long

Audio Adjustments I then changed the audio settings so that there was no

unwanted background noise

I simply changed the audio to 0%

Text I was then able to add text to each slide

I used the precision editor in order to time the text’s entry and exit

I also changed the colour / font of text on certain slides

YouTube Account

I then created a YouTube account to upload the video onto

Export I was then able to export my video straight

onto YouTube

Annotations I then tried to

add an annotation to the end screen to link to my website, however it only allowed you to create annotations to other websites

Instead, I created an annotation saying “Link Below”
