  DESCRIPTION: FM  POXY  SCREED  a  three‐component epoxy  resin  with  selected  aggregates  , applied as a heavy duty  flooring screed  for high  mechanical  resistance,  FM  POXY SCREED  can  be  applied  from  thicknesses starting  from  5  mm  up  to  70  mm  , depending on  type of application and  load requirements.   ADVANTAGES:

• High compressive strength. • Chemical  resistance  against  high 

range  of  acids,  alkali,  salts,  oils, fuels and solvents.

  SURFACE PREPARATION: Surface must clean,  fully dry and  free  from contaminants,  the  surface  to  be  prepared by mechanical means such as sand blasting shot  or grinding. After  surface preparation, all  residual  to be  cleaned and repair  of  any  existing  defaults  prior  to screed  application  with  a  selected  epoxy mortar or putty, repair al  joints edges with epoxy putty.  APPLICATION: Apply  a  coat  of  FM  POXY  PRIMER  to  the floor  in  a  rate  of  100‐150  gm/  m²,  for porous  surfaces,  recoat  the  floor  with  a second coat of FM POXY PRIMER, mix part B  to  part A  using  a  low  speed mechanical mixer  and  add  the  filler  aggregates  to  the mix,  maintain  the  mixing  process  till  a homogenous  mixture,  free  of  lumps  is achieved,  avoid  excess  mixing  and overheating of the product.   Introduce  FM  POXY  SCREED  to  the  work surface, spread evenly with a stainless steel trowel, work  the  surface  of  the  screed  to level using  the stainless steel  trowel, avoid lines at surface of screed.   Avoid filling the expansion and construction joints with epoxy  screed  .Do not apply FM POXY SCREED at  temperatures below 10°C and  above  35°C  or  in  humid  conditions higher  than  70%.  All  tools  to  be  cleaned with a solvent.

HEALTH & SAFETY: Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Use gloves and goggles  to avoid  contact with  skin and eyes.  Ensure  adequate  ventilation  at  work place.
