SPECIFIC REGULATIONS ARTICLE 1. ORGANIZATION The 111th Scandinavian Race in Uppsala 1909 - 2019 is organized by Upsala CK, Box 1021, 751 40 Uppsala, Sweden under the regulations of the International Cycling Union. It is to be held on May 11th. ARTICLE 2. TYPE OF EVENT The event, ME 1.2 is open to athletes of categories Men Elite and Men Under 23. The event is entered on the UCI Europe Tour calendar. The event is registered as a class 2 event. In conformity with the UCI rules, points are awarded as follows: 40 – 30 – 25 – 20 – 15 – 10 – 5 – 3 – 3 – 3 for the UCI ranking.

ARTICLE 3. PARTICIPATION As per article 2.1.005 of the UCI regulations, the event is open to the following teams: UCI professional continental teams of the country, UCI foreign professional continental teams (max. 2), UCI Continental teams, national teams, regional and club teams. As per article 2.2.003 of the UCI regulations, teams must be formed of minimum 4 and maximum 6 riders. ARTICLE 4. RACE HEADQUARTERS The race headquarters of the start shall be open Saturday May 11th at 07.00 hrs to 19.00 hrs and located at the following address: Scandic Uppsala Nord, Gamla Uppsalagatan 50, 754 25 Uppsala. Team representatives are requested to confirm their starters and collect their race numbers at the race headquarters from 08.00-09.30 on May 11th The team managers' meeting, organized in accordance with article 1.2.087 of the UCI regulations, in the presence of the Members of the Commissaires’ Panel, is scheduled for 10.00 on May 11th at Scandic Uppsala Nord, Gamla Uppsalagatan 50, 754 25 Uppsala. Telephone: +46 184952300. ARTICLE 5. RADIO-TOUR Race information will be broadcast on the following frequency: 166,9875 MHz, ARTICLE 6. NEUTRAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT The neutral support is taken care of by means of: 3 service cars. ARTICLE 7. FINISHING TIME LIMITS Any rider finishing in a time exceeding that of the winner by more than 8% shall not be placed. The time limit may, in exceptional circumstances, be increased by the Commissaires' Panel in agreement with the organizer. ARTICLE 8. CLASSIFICATIONS The following classification will be issued: individual ARTICLE 9. PRIZES The following prizes are awarded: The 20 first riders in individual classification.

A grand total of 6.050 Euro will be awarded in prize money at the event. Individual classification

ARTICLE 10. ANTIDOPING The UCI antidoping regulations are entirely applicable to the event. The antidoping tests will take place at Scandic Uppsala Nord, Gamla Uppsalagatan 50, 754 25 Uppsala. Telephone: +46 184952300. .

ARTICLE 11. AWARDS CEREMONY In accordance with article 1.2.112 of the UCI rules, the following riders must attend the official awards ceremony: The first 3 of the event The riders will present themselves at the podium in a time limit of maximum15 minutes after crossing the finish line. ARTICLE 12. PENALTIES The UCI penalty scale is the only one applicable. ARTICLE 13. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION All event participants are kindly reminded to vigorously respect the environment and only throw their waste in the allocated waste bins and designated litter zones during the race. ARTICLE 14. TRANSPONDERS - Electronic system with transponders/chips (MyLaps Prochip) will be used for timekeeping. This applies to all races. - Swedish riders/teams shall bring their ordinary transponder/chip that is registered in Swecyclingonline. Please note that the amount of rental transponders will be limited. - All non-swedish teams will have transponders/chips provided for free at the sign in for the UCI races (one per rider). - Riders in UCI races (Women Elite / Men Elite) that will race on Sunday too shall keep their transponder/chip, bike number and jersey numbers. They will race with the same start number in both races. - Transponders/chips that are not returned to the race organisation will be charged 100Euro each to the team. ARTICLE 15. TEAM PRESENTATION AND SIGN-IN It will be held a team presentation along with the sign-in before the race, where each team is given a particular time of presentation. The presentation will start one hour before the start and finish 15 minutes before the start. The time schedule will be handed out at the team leaders meeting. We kindly ask the teams to respect the schedule and meet as a complete team to the presentation. ARTICLE 16.
