Product Information - DELHI 60/70/80

Old 1 pin version New 2 pins version

Late 2012 new improved HSG parts, prog service module/ASM FRAME, hooks & thin tube adapt were introduced. A small overview for a repair situation:

“Old” version:HSG parts require only one pin. TOP and BOT HSG are glued to be fixed and cannot be reused. HSG parts will fit old and new version of prog service modules. If only replacing the hook/adapt, the old hooks & thin tube adapt must be chosen due to the visual look (tiny differences in outer dimensions). If old HSG parts are replaced to new HSG parts, the hook and prog service module must be replaced to new version too. Old HSG parts, prog service module/ASM FRAME, hooks & thin tube adapt are now terminated. P/n’s are removed from this manual

“New” version:HSG parts require two pins. TOP and BOT HSG are NOT glued and can be reused if not scratched. HSG parts will only fit new version of prog service modules due to the new module has two holes for the two pins. If replacing the hook/adapt, the new hooks/thin tube adapt must be chosen due to the visual look (tiny differences in outer dimensions). P/n’s for new HSG parts, prog service module/ASM FRAME, hooks & thin tube adapt to be found in this manual

Place the HI in test chamber as shownAttach HI to the tube on 2cc coupler and place HI in the white jig/fixture. The effective length of the tube for all models is 20mm

Use of test fixture is mandatory for all BTE during DSA6000 final HI testing. To use the fixture, place the HI in the fixture according to pic. Place it in the test chamber as shown and select the correct test tpix and make sure to follow instructions coming up on the screen. During the test programme execution the IAD calibration will be performed at the appropriate time. Another bennefit from the fixture is that the HI is in a well defined position so the telecoil test can be performed without any interaction from the operator

Testing - DELHI 90

A test ring is needed to obtain good sealing during the HI test. Place the ring on the 2cc coupler tube and push it up as shown

Important points to obtain a good & stable HI test:

1. Test ring to make good sealing2. HI to be placed in a straight line3. HI almost floating, only touch the foam slightly4. HI prog adapt must not touch test jig5. Prog./Batt. cables organized, must provide less driven force to HI6. Coupler cable organized, in order to avoid any change of coupler position when closing sound chamber
