    - To provide 7 degree chilled water supply for air conditioningin summer only

    - To re-heat hot water to 50 – 60 degree for hot water use in Summer

    - To provide 50 – 60 degree hot water supply in Winter

  • Obviously this system cuts the energy cost.

    BUT

  • Complicated system

    Heat pump always operated in fully heat recovery mode

    On non-peak hours hot water consumption, heat pump will be easily hunting

    On/Off heat pump will disturb the central A/C system

    Large invesment

    More space requested

    High maintance cost

    Heat pump cannot 365 days operate to provide lower hot water production cost

    (Fully heat (sensible & latent heat) recovery)

    (for peak hot water demand period)

    Mode C:Hot water supply only in Intermittent Weather

    Mode D:Heating and hot water supply in Winter
