Technip and LNG in short

►We built the first ever LNG Plant, 45 years ago...

►We have been active ever since:

• In Nigeria (3 x 3 Mtpa and 3 x 4 Mtpa)

• In Qatar (6 x 7.8 Mtpa)

• In Yemen (2 x 3.4 Mtpa)

• In Russia ( 1 x 7.5 Mtpa)

• In Australia ( 3 x 3.7 Mtpa)

• In floating LNG ( Shell gFLNG : 1 x 3.5 Mtpa)

The SHTOKMAN Field

► Gas-Condensate Field

► Field reserves are estimated to be 3700 GSm³

► The gas reservoir covers a geographical area of approximately 1.400 km² and is approximately 48 km long by 35 km wide

► Gas production from the first development phaseis planned for an annual production of 23,7 billions Sm³, 71,1 billions Sm³ for the phase 2&3

►Located in the Russian sector of the Barents Sea, approximately 610 km North East of Murmansk

►Water depth at location is 340 m and the reservoir is 2.000 m below the mud line►The area can be covered in ice and is also known for its icebergs

SHTOKMAN Phase I

► Characteristics of Phase I• Ice resistant and disconnectable Floating

Production Unit (FPU) in 340 m water depth, including hull, mooring, risers structure, accommodation (LQ for 350 persons max), process (Oil, gas, water as needed), water treatment, gas export facilities (compression and metering) and associated control systems.

• Subsea production system including 18 to 22 subsea wells

• Umbilicals, flow lines and risers

• Trunkline (2 x 36” pipeline)

• A LNG Plant

SHTOKMAN LNG Project specificities

► TECHNIP has realized the FEED and has taken into account the following Project specificities:

► ARCTIC SITE LOCATION: limited local infrastructures, polar night, snowstorm,…• Umbilicals, flow lines and risers• Limitation of Site Construction activities: Modularization concept • Specific design for personnel and equipment protection

► RUSSIAN ASPECTS:• Compliance with Russian norms and regulations• Russian content (design, procurement, construction)• Bilingual project

Technip execution plan for Shtokman LNG

► JV with JGC

► Association with Russian Design Institutes

► Association with Russian Construction contractors

► Early screening and prequalification of maximum Russian eqpt suppliers to enhance local content

► Russified inquiries to promote local/Russian vendors

TECHNIP is committed to promote Murmansk region/Russian content
