these days?

Challenge of rapid technology changes:

The information globalization led to

competition globalization as well as speed

up of technology changes. For instance,

earlier the technology of RIM could stay on

top for over ten years or even decades; but

nowadays, they stay updated only for few

years. It is the same for rubber products

manufacturers, as they have to keep

updating their technology to remain

competitive. Thus, they require constantly

updated requirements on their RIM. To

provide more professional equipments and

help customers improve competitiveness,

Yizumi has to stay competitive . Though

Yizumi has a strong design team, it is still a

challenge for Yizumi to be consistent with

customers' latest requirement.

Challenge of global quality service:

Yizumi has seen a rapid growth in global

sales so far and we are committed to

provide free of charge service under

warranty. So, how to guarantee the quality

of global service is a challenge for us.

Challenge of lowering manufacturing

cost: The machine cost includes material

cost and manufacturing cost. Yizumi RIM is

your experience so far in this industry?

Yizumi witnessed China's moulding

equipment industry developing rapidly

10 years since its foundation. A decade

equipment in China market. Due to out of

date technology and process, the quality of

Chinese machine was very unstable and it

was hard for a Chinese brand to win a

place in the global market. Now situation

has changed. With the development of the

trade expansion. A growing number of

overseas customers started to accept

Chinese machinery. China has already

become an important production base of

the global moulding equipment industry.

I see that you have big range for Rubber

Moulding Industry (comprising of more

than 7 Models). So, what products and

services can a prospective buyer expect

when they come to you?

Besides customized machines, Yizumi has

other 7 machine series because there are so

many types of rubber products and they are

different in shape and performance

demand. Also, customers' requirements vary

a lot, so we recommend different machine

series for customers with different products.

When customers have no idea of which

model fits for them, we will give detailed

analysis including TCO evaluation based on

customers' needs.

In your range, which are your fast moving

products and in which sector? Which

Different machine models are for different

customers and products, so we don't have

so-called fast moving products.

What caution should a buyer take when

setting up a rubber injection moulding

unit? Do you have any recommendation

of best practices to be adopted?

In Rubber Moulding Industry, the

emphasis is on enhancing the process

efficiency and reducing the energy

consumption. How do your solutions

help your buyers?

Energy consumption and

efficiency are things we all

emphasize. Let's talk about

energy consumption. Some people

think that energy saving machine is

simply adopting servo motor hydraulic

pump. However, this is one-sided.

For the conventional RIM, curing time

takes up a large proportion in the

whole cycle (some may reach more

than 80 percent), you will find

adopting servo motor pump is not an

optimized option after TCO (Total

Cost of Ownership) evaluation.

For example, energy saving motor and

variable pump combination is more

optimal than servo motor and rated

pump in TCO. RIM heating and

machine movement also takes up a big

proportion of energy consumption.

Besides different kinds of energy-

saving power unit, Yizumi analyzes

consumption of each heating unit and

machine movement, and we have

achieved the real energy saving effect

on machine. For example, by analysis

on every single detail when designing

oil circuit and selecting components

with lower energy consumption, while

improving oil circuit design and some

component models with a higher

material cost to reach the goal that to

lower TCO.

Regarding high efficiency, Yizumi has

improved moving speed of the second-

generation machine to a suitable range to

reduce cycle time; with improved clamping

force to meet higher curing pressure

and reduce curing time. Meanwhile,

optional and automation devices are

provided in order to reduce cycle time. All

those updates above have improved the

machine efficiency.

Could you throw some light on how do you

compete technologically for your products

and service offerings against the European

brands? How do you keep pace with the

rest of the world to meet your goal of

being “No.1 in the rubber injection

machine industry” by 2017?

Normally, European brand RIM is high in both

performance and price. And it is widely

accepted as good machines but what

Yizumi prefers is to recommend a

machine that is most suitable for the

customer. Yizumi adopts modular design

including 5 different types of injection

plasticising structure (injection volume

0.15L - 80L), 7 types of clamping structure

(clamping force 25T - 1800T) in total. The

injection plasticising unit in different

structure and different volume and

clamping unit in different structure and

clamping force can form 51 machine

models, among which you can have 5

different power systems with more than

30 other optional devices for choices. We

offer most suitable technology, machine

model and configuration according to

customer's needs. Also, customization is

available in order to guarantee that

customer can purchase more suitable

equipment and avoid the waste of

machine performance and functions.

Meanwhile, Yizumi is the first RIM

manufacturer to provide globally free

after-sales service within warranty. Even

after warranty, Yizumi will provide

life-long machine maintenance and

upgrade services at a fair price.

Besides, in order to launch “low price

machine” to the market, some European

brands adopts mechanical parts with low

quality and cut down some necessary

functions. This is totally not in line with

the developing trend of rubber moulding

industry.

How do you ensure to deliver high

customer? What processes and

certifications do you have in place to

ensure consistency of quality/meeting

deadlines?

In order to make sure product quality in

consistence with our commitment, Yizumi

adopts ISO 9000 and related process. The

only difference between Yizumi and some

other companies is that Yizumi will firmly

implement instead of put the files in the

cabinet.

infrastructure and capabilities? Can a

potential buyer look at a long-term

Yizumi now covers an area of over 400,000

square meters with more than 100 units of

world's top brand CNC. We have production

bases including Ronggui, Wusha, Wujiang in

China and Morrow County in Ohio, U.S.

How do you differentiate yourself as

well as compete on price of your

products with other brands in the

market?

There might be 10 elements affecting a

brand. The global market capacity for RIM

is very small. We cannot afford expensive

branding fee. Thus, Yizumi invests a lot in

machine R&D instead of building up its

brand through massive media publicity.

Most of the customized machine

technology are world leading. Customers

are satisfied with the machine quality and

service. That means: technology, quality

and service help Yizumi building up its

brand.

Yizumi has been listed in 2015 Chinese

Most Valuable Brand and made its first

appearance in New York Time Square in

2016 Chinese Spring Festival with another

100 famous Chinese enterprise in Reuters

screen. Yizumi is the one and only

We cannot agree more. And we have

several successful cases where customers

are satisfied. But we should pay attention

to the following points when evaluating

3. Customer's actual production status;

4. Ultimate benefits oriented for customers.

To make up, modify, or exaggerate the data

for winning the orders will affect the final

So far, HPM mainly focuses on North

America market, product range from

Do your products demand after-sales

service? If yes, when a customer places a

service request, how do you handle the

situation? And what is the average turn-

around-time (TAT) for your personnel to

respond and resolve?

Most of machines need certain after-sales

service, RIM is no exception. When we

receive service call from customers, we will

respond to them at once, normally within 4

working hours. We will provide institutions

or send technicians in time according to

customer's needs and feedbacks.

plans??

In the beginning of 2016, Yizumi YL2-VL

conventional series launched to the market.

By the end of 2016, Yizumi European

Standard YL2-VL series will be launched to

the market as well. The 2nd generation RIM

has been improved to a new level in terms

of overall performance and energy

efficiency. It will be more suitable for

customer's IE design.

first training in Yizumi, and our service

engineers will give second training to

such as PPT or even video for different

machines.
