English in their homes. CSILE provides opportunities to express their ideas

in English and to receive feedback from their peers.

•Elementary teachers design and extended collaboration between fourth-

grade classes at two elementary schools. In a unit called “Monsters,

Mondrian, and Me” students were directed to describe a picture in a email

message.

•This project illustrates how telecommunication can precise writing and

provide a forum for feedback from peers.

•This projects helps the learners successfully complete every problems

they start, with the amount coaching decreasing as their skill increases;

and learners replay and reflect on their performance, highlighting areas

where they could improve.
