På Bergen lufthavn, Flesland vil det foregå anleggsarbeid på rullebanens nordre del i tidsrommet (lokal tid i parentes) 01 MAR 2018 2145 (2245) - 15 JUN 2018 0400 (0500).
Arbeidet som skal utføres inkluderer:
- Rehabilitering av RWY SFC på nordre del.
- Utskifting av innflygingslys RWY 17.
- Etablering av ny GP RWY 17
- Flytting av PAPI RWY 17
- Montering av CAT II landingssonelysRWY 17
På grunn av arbeidets omfang og kompleksitet endres rullebanekonfigurasjonen ved at tilgjengelig rullebanelengder reduseres.
Midlertidig RWY konfigurasjon
Det etableres en midlertidig RWY konfigurasjon med TEMP THR RWY 17 og to ulike startposisjoner for avgang RWY 17. Dette medfører endrede banelengder, lysbilde og RWY markeringer.
Standard startposisjon for avgang (17 DEP) vil være ved kryss RWY 17 / TWY A3.
I tillegg kan det tilgjengeliggjøres på forespørsel til ATC en startposisjon med noe lengre avgangsdistanser (17 DEP EXTD). Denne er 162 M nord av TWY A3; markert med hvitstiplet linje på tvers av RWY og blå kantlys. Det er nødvendig å benytte backtrack fra TWY A3. For å redusere faren for FOD skal det tas vid sving på RWY. Ekstra ventetid må forventes.
Anleggsarbeidet på banen medfører at 430 M avrullebanen mellom innerste APP LGT og start 345 M hvite CL LGT i forkant av TEMP THR ikke er belyst.
ENBR - CONSTRUCTION WORK AT BERGEN AIRPORT, FLESLAND
Construction work will be carried out at Bergenairport, Flesland on the northern part of the RWY, in the time frame (local hours in brackets) 01 MAR 2018 2145 (2245) - 15 JUN 2018 0400 (0500).
The work comprise:
- Rehabilitation of RWY SFC on the northernpart.
- Replacement of APP LGT RWY 17
- Installation of new GP RWY 17
- Relocation of PAPI RWY 17
- Installation of CAT II landing zone LGTRWY 17
Due to the nature of the construction work, the RWY configuration will temporary be changed and the declared distances shortened.
TEMP RWY configuration
A temporary RWY configuration will be established, with TEMP THR RWY 17 and two different start positions for departure RWY 17. This results in changes to the declared distances, LGT and RWY markings.
Standard start position for departure (17 DEP) will be at intersection RWY 17 / TWY A3.
In addition, by request to ATC, a start position(17 DEP EXTD) can be made available with longer take off distances. This start position is situated 162 M north of TWY A3, marked with a white broken line across RWY and blue edge LGT. It will be necessary to backtrack via TWY A3. To reduce the risk for FOD a wide turn shall be executed on RWY. Extra waiting time must be expected.
The construction work on the RWY results in 430 M of the RWY, between innermost APP LGT and start 345 M white CL LGT in front of TEMP THR is not lighted.
