DESCRIPTION
While providing raw data in places like Data.gov is a great first step in opening up government, it is insufficient. Realizing the spirit of the Open Government Directive will require dramatic improvements in user experience. Concrete examples to demonstrate how government agencies can harness the power of information visualization to give the American people the insights they need (not just the data needed) to make informed decisions and dramatically improve interactions with the government.TRANSCRIPT
