   Ministry Update 

 Dear Friends,

       Wow, what a truly incredible month. Without a doubt, the highlightof this month was the chance for Jasmine and our six Thai friends andministry partners having the opportunity to attend the Global AccessConference hosted by Joni and Friends International Disability Center!Jasmine, our two little hoodlums, Pastor Ann, as well as Off & Peung,departed Chiang Mai on February 12th. Jasmine was BEYOND grateful  tohave three other adults for the long 30+ hours of travel. (Please don'tremind her of the 34 hours of travel alone with two kids in March... we're

Tackling travel issues with Thai style ingenuity in LA (Why are luggage

carts so expensive at airports?!?)

      They landed in Phoenix on the 13th, and drove about three hours toParker, where Jasmine's family gave them a warm American welcomewith cheese and crackers. The next morning we were up early and off toKingman, Arizona for breakfast with Manzanita Baptist Church. What adelight! We shared about how God is moving at The First Church ofChiang Mai and using Family Retreat as an amazing new ministry tool.Jasmine will be going back to MBC on March 15th to share further withthe congregation. We love how they love the Lord!

 

        We had some time to kill in Lake Havasu City before our nextengagement at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, so Jasmine introduced thecrew to Hobby Lobby and Walmart. What a hoot! Jasmine enjoyedshopping with people who actually enjoyed shopping (Joey is not ashopper, after all). And in their typical spirit of grace and service,everything they bought were gifts for friends and family back home! Itwas a great example of how giving and generous our sweet friends are,to their very core. After our shopping fun we enjoyed a lovely time at theSaturday evening service of Mount Olive, giving an update and also a giftfrom Thailand. They also presented us with a check from their youthgroup who had done a fundraiser for our family's monthly support needs.What a blessing!

           Sunday morning we were again up early to head to Lake Havasu

for the 8AM service at Mount Olive, and then back down to Parker for the10AM service at Messiah Lutheran and more sharing! Whew! Then it wastime to kick back and rest for Sunday and Monday. The crew enjoyedmaking Thai food for Jasmine's family, eating American steak, takingpictures with Saguaro cactus, and getting to know the Crawford family. Itwas such a special delight for Jasmine to see the two most importantparts of her world collide in such a neat way. We really praise God forallowing this special part of the trip and making it possible through thegenerous gift of Messiah Lutheran to cover airfare for all three to Arizona.We praise God for such sweet friends and co­laborers and a greaterunderstanding of each other's lives through this time with each other.  

       Tuesday we were up early and off to Phoenix for our flight to LA andthe start of the Global Access Conference. We were happily reunited withthe rest of our Family Retreat team who was in LA for the conference,Dream and pastors Ying and Golf. Of course we celebrated our reunionwith a Thai food picnic in the courtyard of our hotel. Then it was off tothe opening of the Global Access Conference!

         It's hard to even put into words how incredible this conference was.It was packed full of amazing information, inspiration and networking.

We're so thankful our team could be part of this and we're excited to seewhat God will do in Chiang Mai, Thailand and all of Southeast Asia in thenext few years! Please pray that the momentum and inspiration wouldjust expand through the power of God!

The highlight of the conference for the team was of course getting tomeet Joni Eareckson Tada!

        After the conference Jasmine returned to Arizona. She has beenworking on our adoption paperwork, banking and sundry other things thatneed doing during her short visit to the US. Since we don't plan to visitthe US again until the end of 2016 or, more likely, the beginning of 2017,

we have a lot of things to do to get us set for our next time of ministry.Please pray for her stamina and organization during this time. Our friendswent on to Santa Barbara and a few other places. Off and Peung arrivedback in Chiang Mai on the 28th, where Joey welcomed them back at theairport. Dream should arrive back on the 1st, although there have beensome issues with her flight already. Pastor Ann will leave for Thailand onthe 13th of March, and Ying and Golf return in another month or so. It willbe good to have everyone back home in Thailand and prepping forDisability Ministry expansion as also the Family Retreat in July!

        Speaking of this, we are looking for Occupational or PhysicalTherapists from the US to come for the Family Retreat in July. Are youinterested in an amazing experience that will impact you for the rest ofyour life? Let us know, and please share the need!

 

Join Distribution in Uttaradit with Rotary International

          The Wheelchair Project has been quite busy! They started themonth helping our satellite team with the Uttaradit Rotary distribute 150wheelchairs throughout Khampaeng Phet, Sukhothai, and Phrae. Joeyhas been busy planning future distributions, helping edit our new websitethat a volunteer is making, and various other work around thewarehouse. We're hoping to distribute 1,500 wheelchairs this year.Please pray alongside us toward this goal!

        Have you thought about how you will be giving in 2015? We are stillunderfunded by about $900 per month. Would you pray about whetherGod might be leading you to give $10, $50 or maybe $100 each month?Any amount is a huge blessing to us... truly, it's the regular $30 a monththat sometimes means the most to us! Please let us know if you havequestions about supporting us, and please do share this newsletter if youknow of anyone who might be interested in partnering us to advanceGod's kingdom and reach out to people with disabilities in Thailand!

  

Family Update

         Of course the highlight of this month for the kids has been timewith Grandmama and Grandpapa Crawford! They very generously paidfor airfare to come to the US for the conference, and kept the kids forfive nights so Jasmine could take our team to the Global Accessconference. They are awesome! They've been spoiling the kids with gifts,food, and lots of quality time. We're so thankful for this precious timewith family!

             However, we are really missing Joey and being a familyseparated has been hard. We've been Skyping whenever we can andIlyria and Cordelia look forward to Daddy reading them stories overSkype!

       Jasmine and both girls have all been sick during their whole twoweeks so far, so please pray for quick healing! Joey seemed to not wantto be left out of the fun and now he is also coming down with a bad cold!

fundraiser! Our pants fundraiser raised $3,000! Our homestudy has beenpaid off and we're now just $1,500 away from our next goal of paying ourInternational Fee when we submit our dossier to Serbia. Our goal for thisis May.
