Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Parents and Friends Parents and Friends meet regularly at Pilgrim School and do a fantastic job supporting our children and engaging with our school community. If you would like to know more about P & F and get involved please contact Dan Minchin, President of P & F (Mobile 0438 378 543). Please note that you are more than welcome to come along to any of the meetings throughout the year. These are open to anyone in the Pilgrim community, not simply those with portfolios of responsibility.

Term 2 13th May 7.30pm Pilgrim School Meeting Room
24th June 7.30pm Pilgrim School Meeting Room
Term 3 5th August 7.30pm Pilgrim School Meeting Room

First Aid at School To ensure children are safe at school we are constantly looking at ways to improve our services and facilities. Our current practice is that when a child has been injured or received notable first aid assistance a letter comes home to advise parents and caregivers of what occurred and any support provided.
A small, hopefully helpful, change will be that any students who have received any head injuries during the school day will have a white wrist band attached to communicate to you that this has been the case. You can then look in their bag for the accompanying First aid notification note to provide you further information and monitor your child over that afternoon and evening. This will mean you have immediate communication and notification.
As always if the injury is of a more significant nature you will be contacted and informed by school staff.
Blessings to you

YEAR 6 & 7 AQUATICS @ PORT NOARLUNGA
Community News JOURNEY ‘UNDER THE SEA’ WITH ARIEL & HER FRIENDS IN THIS TIMELESS LOVE STORY
The award-winning team at Pelican Productions brings another of the world’s best loved musicals, ‘The Little Mermaid JR’ to audiences this March.
It will be starring one of our students Ebony Sarre who would love to see some familiar faces in the audience!
Based on the beloved story by Hans Christian Anderson, the Little Mermaid JR follows the adventures of the beautiful young mermaid Ariel and her longing to leave the safety of her magical underwater kingdom to experience the big wide world above. Having disobeyed her
overprotective father King Triton to explore the human world, Ariel is forced to make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula to pursue her dreams, making the ultimate sacrifice for love.
Pelican’s reimagining of this fantastical classic tale will delight both young and old. This production is bursting with colour, energy and of course all of the songs so familiar to generations.
The Little Mermaid JR is playing at the Arts Theatre, Angas Street, March 22 - 24. Tickets are on sale now through pelicanproductions.com.au.
Adults $35, Concession $30 and Children $25

Our theme this year is
Belonging. Students
have been learning
about getting along
and working
together.
We have enjoyed getting to know our year 2 buddies!
We have been learning about
what life was like for Aboriginal
people before European
settlement.
We even played an Aboriginal
hunting game called Gorri.
