• U.S. Senate 2 six year terms totally 12 years total in the Senate• U.S. Congress 2 four year terms

totaling 8 years in Congress• This give a 20 year retirement

plan for members who want to serve on the federal level

• Vermont Governor 8 year total term, 4 two year Election Cycles• Vermont Senate 12 year total

term• Vermont House 8 year total term• This gives Vermont’s local

representative a 20 year retirement plan.
