OUR PROGRAM

The Deutschkurse bei der Universität München e.V. is one of the largest language teaching and test centers in Munich for international appli-cants, foreign students, and visiting scholars from all over the world. In close cooperation with the Munich universities, and on behalf of the LMU Munich, we regularly offer university preparatory courses and courses to accompany your degree, as well as examinations required for university admission.

We are a member of the Professional Associa-tion of German as a Foreign Language (FaDaF), the association of university-based DaF-insti-tutions in Bavaria, and the advisory board for quality assurance for German to accompany degree level studies and preparatory German language training at the LMU.

Our ExaminationsWe are a certified examination center for the DSH (German Language University Entrance Examina-tion for Foreign Applicants), TestDaF and TestAS.

Our LevelsOur course program is divided into six stages:Level 1: A1 / A2 Level 2: A2 / B1For participants with no, little or some previous knowledge (as per CEFR: B1) Level 3: B2.1 Level 4: B2.2For participants with good knowledge (as per CEFR: B2)Level 5: C1.1 Level 6: C1.2For participants with very good knowledge (as per CEFR: C1, DSH or TestDaF)CEFR = Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
