Newby Avery Vaught Banquet
This year marked a change to the Name of the Annual Banquet. Sir Knight Duane Lee Vaught is the
third Sir Knight from Indiana to complete his tour as Most Eminent Grand Master of the Grand
Encampment of the United States of America. Thus, it is only fitting that his name should be added to
the annual banquet honoring the Most Eminent Past Grand Masters from Indiana.
Late year Mother Nature brought us a record 10 inches of snow in the middle of March for the banquet.
This Mother Nature was much kinder as we enjoyed a very good lunch and great fellowship with about
45 – 50 Sir Knights and ladies at the Compass Park facilities.
The new Newby Avery Vaught Buttons Sir Knight Vaught presented the Buttons and
a plaque to Baldwin Commandery No. 2
A few of those attending sharing memories. Grand Master Culmann preparing to make his remarks. Pictures complements of Stephen P. Kroman, Grand Prelate, Grand Photographer

INDIANA SICKNESS
Michael Ritter, PGC had fallen last month while looking at a house to possibly purchase and broken
his knee cap in several places. I called him today Sunday, to see how was doing enjoying the weather in
Norther Florida, only to find that he was here with me, back in Muncie with the snow and only checking
the weather where he left to find the temperature to be 70 degrees. His operation is over, and he will be
receiving rehab for a couple of months. Welcome Back Mike….

A Tidbit
As you look at each person remember we all have a bag of troubles over our shoulder
some are large bags some are small but, if we can all take two minutes to copy, paste and watch the Youtube below into your web browser, we can each see how fortunate we
are. Enjoy
David Attenborough is a very clever man, but full credit to the cameramen who work for him......
Every night and day we sit and moan about the rubbish being passed off as commercials that we are forced to watch by our commercial networks.
If only we could make commercials like this one there would be no complaints forthcoming.
This really is Magic. David Attenborough does it again! www.youtube.com/embed/auSo1MyWf8g?rel=0
