3. HIGHLIGHTS OF AUGUST, 2019

MOTOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES : AUGUST, 2019

Students of AIPS, RK Campus learned various Gross Motor and Fine Motor Skill development activities

during month of August, 2019.

FRIENDSHIP DAY CELEBRATION : 2ND AUGUST, 2019

Kids celebrated ‘Friendship Day’ on 2nd August, 2019 with their friends and teachers. They tied

handmade friendship band to their peers. Teacher narrated story for stating the importance of friends

in our life and the value of it. At the end all enjoyed dancing and sing with their friends and teachers.

STAMP PRINTING : 9TH AUGUST, 2019

To improve the Judgement of Placing And Arranging the object as well as to develop the Gross Motor

Skill of the children, school organised ‘Stamp Printing Activity’ on 9thAugust, 2019 where kids use lady

finger, alphabet cut-out, leaf, sponge cut-out as a stamp and made creative drawing.

Children enjoyed the activity very much.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION : 14TH AUGUST, 2019

Our pre primary kids learned the values of freedom on the occasion of Independence Day. Various

activities regarding our National Symbols were conducted.

To evoke patriotism the school celebrated ‘Independence Day’ with a theme of Tricolour on 14th

August, 2019. Teacher sang National anthem with the children and explain them why one should

have respect towards the country and our national flag. Kids learned the values of freedom.

RAKHI CELEBRATION : 14TH AUGUST, 2019

Children cheered the sweet bond of love between brother and sister through the ‘Rakhi Celebration’. Little girls tied rakhi to boys and received chocolate as a gift from them. Teachers explained the value

of togetherness to the children.

ELOCUTION COMPETITION : 19TH AUGUST, 2019

An Elocution Competition was organised at our pre-school campuses, where enthusiastic toddlers

spoke few lines about the given topic in front of their classes. Class wise following topics were given to

the children: for Nursery ‘National Symbols’, L.K.G. ‘Freedom Fighter’ and U.K.G. ‘My Nation’.

Their costumes, gestures and facial expressions added more flair to their presentation.

JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION : 22ND & 23RD AUGUST, 2019

The auspicious day of ‘Krishna Janmashtami’ is celebrated with great pomp and zeal by the school.

Our SA Campus, UKG kids were full of liveliness and zest as they celebrated this festival at our new

branch RK Campus on 22nd August, 2019.Toddlers of AIPS Main Campus and SA Campus revelled this

festival on 23rd August, 2019. Cute little Krishna and Radha looked adorable in their traditional attire.

Teachers narrated the stories of Lord Krishna to fulfil the main significance of Janmashtami, which is to

encourage goodwill and to discourage bad will. Children and teachers danced on the tunes of

garba. In all the merriment and shouts of glee from the children ‘Matki Phod’ event was organised.

ROTARY CLUB– ‘PATRIOTIC SONG SINGING COMPETITION’ : 21ST AUGUST, 2019

Our students participated in the ‘Patriotic Song Singing Competition’ organised by Rotary Club of

Bharuch on 21stAugust, 2019. They performed singing along with musical instruments too. Such

activities keep the spirit of solidarity and love for the country alive in our young generation. It also

gives exposure to the students to music, while also enhancing their language and presentation skills.

TEACHER’S TRAINING PROGRAMME : 17TH AUGUST, 2019

Toddlers are like a wet mud when they enter the school world. It is the teacher who can shape their

future. Thinking of the same AIS organized Training Programme for our Pre School Teachers of all

branches on 17th August, 2019.

Ms. Nishi Sehrawat Phogaat, Trainer from Oxford University Press India, from Delhi conducted workshop

on ‘Effective Teaching Techniques’ for pre school children.

TEHSIL LEVEL ‘70TH VAN MAHOTSAV 2019’ : 29TH AUGUST, 2019

Taluka level ‘70th Van Mahotsav 2019’ was celebrated at AIS premises with great fervour by the

Forest Department, Bharuch under the awareness campaign of the Government ‘Vaave Gujarat

Abhiyaan’ on 29th August, 2019.

Mr. R. B. Patel, Chief Conservator of Forests, Bharuch, Smt. Bhavnaben Desai, Assistant Conservator of

Forests, Bharuch, Mr. Narendrabhai K. Patel, Chief, Taluka Panchayat, Bharuch were the Chief Guests

of the event. Mr. P.D. Patel, Mamlatdar, Bharuch and Mr. Dhavalbhai Desai, Tehsil Development

Officer, Bharuch also marked the occasion with their valuable presence. More than 100 people from

nearby villages also joined the event. Mr. A. L. Patel, Range Forest Officer, Bharuch and Mr. J. V. Desai,

Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Bharuch were the host of the programme.

The event commenced with Ganesh Vandana performed by the students. Principal, Ms. Shalin John

introduced and welcomed the honorary guests. The dignitaries presented speeches on the

importance of the conservation of forest.

From that point forward, a Tree Plantation drive was organised at the AIS campus. A huge number of

Saplings were planted with energetic participation by the students and the guests. Principal,

Ms. Shalin John, emphasised on the importance of such tree plantation drives to maintain the

ecological balance. The school has also been awarded as “Green India Ambassador” by

Microsoft India.

The event concluded by the vote of thanks to all the honorable guests.

MOTHERS' CLUB :

RAKHI MAKING ACTIVITY : 13TH AUGUST, 2019

The mothers of AIS MOTHER’S CLUB conducted ’Rakhi Making Activity’ for the students of grade I to V

at school and shared their craft skills with the students. Children enjoyed making rakhi and decorated

it beautifully.

The school appreciates the mothers’ active involvement in developing various skills of the children.
