About the Festival:

Tasveer South Asian Film Festival (TSAFF) is a 10-day film festival, produced by Tasveer.

The largest South Asian Film Festival in the USA, Tasveer will mark 2017 as its 12th year of celebrating South Asian films and stories, by showcasing meaningful quality films loved by our Greater Seattle community.

12th TASVEER SOUTH ASIAN FILM FESTIVALTasveer’s 12th anniversary festival opens at the downtown Seattle Art Museum Friday, Oct 6th 2017 with a film and red carpet gala. TSAFF presents fiction films, documentaries, workshops, performances, and numerous thought-provoking dialogues with filmmakers and guest experts.

We collaborate with community organizations and local businesses to bring people together, through cultural expression and diverse perspectives.

Tasveer’s partnerships and marketing campaigns target the region’s established film festival attendees and South Asians residing in and around the Pacific Northwest.

We connect with special interest communities based on the subjects of each film.

With 45 films shown to 3500+ attendees, we increased our funding over 35% last year to create our most successful Tasveer yet!11th TSAFF’s presenting partners included: Zee Cinema, KCTS9, Spreeha, The Triple Door, Bellevue Art Museum, University of Washington, Seattle Art Museum, City of Redmond & City of Renton, Arts Fund, and many more.

Tasveer has been advertising with King County METRO for the past 2 years, adding to our community visibility.
