Government to set up central organization to oversee ICT development and utilizationwithin the public sector. Emphasis will be on the unity and integration of databasesystem, planning, coordination, budget allocation and transparent procurement, to meetup with each agency requirement as well as reduce investment duplication. This willenable public sector to accumulate, exchange and share information among themselves,based on secured and open standard platform.

• Joint-research with international institutionsto design and implement of an prototypeautomatic system to measure websitematurity level in all levels of administrationand community domain



LessonsLessons

Learnt - To bridge the digital divide requires creative

multi-stakeholder partnerships both nationaland local level to help create new opportunityfor all citizen.

To Learn- MSP can be expanded into international levelby building up a common tool to help bridgethe digital divide in the common channel ofaccess for citizens.



Conclusions- The SEE-Indicator Project’s team wish thatthe project’s tools will be an effectivemechanism for assessing the e-Governmentimplementation via websites in all levels ofadministration and community domainwhere all level of citizens will have equalopportunity to access.

- The project will help promote MSP indevelopment of websites which are themain channels for citizens to access digitalcontent and services of public sector.
