For over 48 years, the Evergreen Chamber has been a catalyst for growth for the business community. We help our members work together to create power partners, learn valuable marketing skills that enhance their operations and provide a place where small business owners can find friends and colleagues. What we deliver

to the public is a vibrant economy creating choices of services, adding to our property values and employing local residents of all ages.

Research shows that a great community needs a great business environment to thrive. The Chamber staff works every day to make sure that that need is addressed and met. Some of our members are able to participate in all of the networking activities we provide from leads groups to event volunteering to educational breakfasts. Others are so busy in their business that they cannot attend everything. We do our best to keep on top of what’s going on, who provides the services needed in town and make our community aware of how to connect with who we recommend. Our website is an active place to connect with local business, find out what’s happening event wise and how our county supports us. Our Facebook page provides relevant information about local business activities, job openings, road closures and much more.

Belonging to the Evergreen Chamber is more than just advertising your business and making connections. Belonging to the Chamber is to take part of being in the business of encouraging a thriving economy. It is bigger than just being an owner or employee. It is about being part of the growth and strength of a community you love. It takes a village to create and maintain success, we should all actively take part in creating that success.

Every day the Evergreen Chamber strives to positively affect the lives of our community. We provide business recommendations and act as a central point of information for the mountain area in everything from events to county rules and regulations. Quality Connections Southwest (QCSW) has been publishing for 12 years on the West side of the Denver Market including the

Foothills. Quality Connections was founded in Colorado Springs just over 20 years ago. We are the original direct mail marketing magazine in Colorado and have been helping small to medium size businesses be successful since the first edition.

Quality Connections is a demographic driven, direct mail product while most other direct mail publications are geographic

driven. We select postal carrier routes based on single family residences, incomes of about $50,000 and above, slightly

older adults in the household and families. These are the most important categories for a direct mail offer to succeed. We

do not have subscribers. Geographic driven direct mail products are delivered to a block of addresses in a particular area with little or no concern about who gets the offer. This is important since coupon users in the United States are; women over 30, married, with children, with upscale incomes and homeowners. In some cases, particularly in the Foothills communities, we must deliver to Residential Post Office Boxes since mail is not delivered to homes. Our mailing lists are updated 3 times every 12 month period to get the freshest demographics available so our advertisers get the best customers into their businesses.

There always seems to be something new with Quality Connections. Beyond our magazine we added a website with downloadable coupons a few years ago, then, at the urging of some younger generation coupon users, we added Facebook and Twitter to push the ads to more people. Recently Quality Connections owners decided to add a free mobile app, QC Coupons, which covers all of our advertisers from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins. So if you're traveling around the Metro/Foothills area and need something, like lunch, the app will take you to the closest restaurant. Or, you can select a business by category and distance. We're finding a lot of people are signing up. Beginning with the Holiday issue publishing October 30th, QCSW will add Georgetown to Zone 8.

It's important that a publishing company remain viable as more aspects of delivering messages becomes available. We listen to our clients' recommendations and that pushes us into bigger packages to cover their needs. And, since we are the largest direct mail marketing magazine in Colorado our ability to keep pricing down while offering more gives small businesses the chance to suc-ceed. We really don't know of any other Colorado product like ours that can offer all of this plus free professional design for 1.3 cents per household.

Quality Connections has been a Chamber member for some time and we enjoy helping small businesses. With an 80%+ renewal rate you can call any of our clients in the magazine and ask for their opinion. Except for restaurants, we limit the number of clients in any given category to no more than 2 or 3. Some categories are completely exclusive like dentists and chiropractors and we have clients that have been with QCSW since our first issue and love to see their success. A recent survey shows that Millennials still pre-fer paper coupons over other offers (our Social Media Manager can direct you to that survey).

Tiffany W Lockwood Broker Associate with Coldwell Banker Evergreen is a vegetarian as well as an Evergreen Chamber member. She took the "Judges Choice" award as well as 3rd place for her vegetarian chili, "Vegetarian with a Vengeance." Notice she's making a fashion statement with the hat as well as her Chamber of Commerce T-SHIRT. Tiffany is also a resident of Evergreen.

Evergreen Country Day Toddler through 2nd grade students learn and play in an inquiry-based, creative, interdisciplinary enrichment program called the Tinker

Lab. After establishing a student posed inquiry question (provocation), the teach-ers then develop a unit of study that integrates art, music, science, engineering,

The Haunted Park is a family event on Saturday the 28th October from 4.30pm. It's FREE to the public so we expect to be one of the most popular family Halloween events in the area. Guests attending the park will experience free spooky disc golf, free trick or treating with live music, a camp fire (if there's no fire ban) and a Halloween costume contest for families and dogs, at our spooky park.

Evergreen Chamber Orchestra

The Evergreen Chamber Orchestra was formed in 1983 by local musicians (mostly Evergreen and mountain area residents), who had been playing together informally for the previous two years.
