JAMS Associated Student Body (ASB) had a terrific year!

CONTESTS: musical chairs, jump rope, hula hoop, sports trivia challenge, Name that Tune, Fortnite dance competition, handshake contest, Rubik’s race, hot potato, limbo, guessing booth, Kahoot challenge, Friendsgiving Games

ENTERTAINMENT: Rap Battle, Talent Show, Friday Music on the Quad, Biggie the Therapy Dog, Tempest parkour demo FOOD FUN: 14 food events including Chicken Run, Burger Walk, Taco Walk, Pie Eating Contest and Treats Frozen Yogurt! SPORTS: Soccer Tournament, Obstacle Course, Relay Race, 3x3 Basketball Tournament, Basketball 21 Tournament, and 72 sporting games on JAMS Day! DRESS-UP DAYS: College Gear, Hype Beast, Bucket Hats, Denim Day, Tropical Tuesday, Sweatpants, Color Week, Stripe Day, Twin Day, Pajama Day, Sports Gear, Tie-Dye Tuesday, Crazy Socks, Red for Red Nose Day MAJOR EVENTS: Step it Up Fitness Field Day, Halloween Carnival, Costume Contest, Lunar New Year Festival, JAMS Day (concert, crafts, bingo, sports, indoor games, & raffle), Food Truck Days

COMMUNITY COLLABORATIONS: Bike It/Walk It Day, Fifth Grade Tour, 8th Grade Interviews, Morning Announcements, “Born to Stand Out” mural, Mental Health research and action projects, Fifth Grade Tours, Restorative Justice retreat, BTSN/Open House guides, 8th Grade Interview greeters, field trip to Lincoln ASB, and 6 hours of school service per ASB student

FUNDRAISING AND GIFTS: $500 in books purchased for advisory classrooms, Red Nose Day fundraiser to combat poverty, Malibu Fire Victims, 8th Grade Promotion certificates & medals, cameras for Journalism, and games for Games Club
