The 4 Foundational Principles of Empowering Your Neighbors is based on the principles of connecting, communicating, taking action, and celebrating with your neighbors. I first presented this strategy at the LISC Newark NJ "Growing Leadership, Building Community Resident Leadership Development Training" on November 7th, 2014 at Rutgers University in Newark NJ. These pinciples can be used in any neighborhood to tackle every challenge. As I further develop the approach, I will update the presentation.TRANSCRIPT

We all face challenges in our neighborhoods

Second, we need to communicate
Third, we need to take action
Fourth, we need to celebrate
The more neighbors connect, communicate, take action and
celebrate…. the brighter our days
