She joined 4-H two years ago because her friends told her about the club and it sounded like something she would like. Today, Caroline describes 4-H as “a community where you can learn about everything and anything you want”. Caroline has participated in the horsemanship, sewing and cake decorating projects. Her favorite project is horsemanship because she enjoys working with her horse and learning about horse in general. Caroline has also learned about the importance of teamwork during her experience as an officer in her club. Her officer experience taught her about proper parliamentary procedure and how to give a report, a responsibility which she now enjoys. The most exciting thing Caroline has done through the 4-H program is attending the Regional 4-H Energizer. This event is held each year in Henry County in January, with members from the 17-county region attending. She enjoyed the energizer because she got to learn about new and different projects. Caroline has many years ahead of her in 4-H, and hopes to learn to be a good leader as she progresses through the program. Her biggest project goal is to show her horse at the Missouri State Fair. Caroline thinks other youth should join 4-H to learn new skills and make new friends. The Sharpshooters chose Caroline as the 4-Her of the Month because “she is an adventurous girl who is willing to try many different things. She has enrolled in a variety of different projects during her 4-H membership and is eager to help out wherever she can. New 4-H Year In order to close out the 2015-16 year, 4-HOnline will not be available to anyone – including the Extension Center for the last two weeks of September. Please plan ahead and make sure you have the information you need before it closes. 4-HOnline will be up and running to take enrollments on

October 1. Families should be able to begin registering for the 2016-17 4-H year beginning October 1.

Enrollment Process Since you are receiving the newsletter, you are already a 4-H member and just need to sign up for the 2016-17 4-H year. Beginning October 1, you will be able to re-enroll for the 4-H year. Here are the steps you will need to take to get enrolled. Go to http://mo.4honline.com (notice there is no “www” in that address). Log in to your family profile with your log-in email address. (If you can’t remember your password, select “I forgot my password”) Continue to your Family Member list. Select "Edit" next to the member you are re-enrollling. Select "Enroll for 2016-2017" at the bottom of the first page. Review all content in the member profile, update any health form changes and change any projects (if you aren’t enrolling in a project, delete it for this year). Submit your enrollment, and pay required dues reflected on member invoices. Please, please do NOT create a new profile, just update the old one. Even if your email address has changed, still use the old one to log in and then update to your new email address. Again this year all state event registrations will require a member to be in “Active” status in 4HOnline.
