Conference Information

APCOT 2014 will be a four-day event to be held with theobjective of providing the researchers, students andprofessionals involved in the field of micro and nanotechnologies, a comprehensive platform for gathering andsharing knowledge and information about the latestdevelopments. The biennial APCOT meeting is a premier eventwith a history of six successful conferences that were held inXiamen, China in 2002, in Sapporo, Japan in 2004, in Singapore in2006, in Tainan, Taiwan in 2008, in Perth, Australia in 2010, and inNanjing, China in 2012.APCOT 2014 is devoted to all aspects of solid-state sensors,microactuators, microsystems enabled by MEMS and Nanotechnologies. It is intended to provide a forum for researchscientists, engineers, and practitioners to present their latestresearch findings, ideas, and applications. It will include keynoteaddresses by eminent scientists as well as invited speakers. Theselected papers will be published in issues of internationaljournals.

Abstract Submission

All authors are required to upload their abstracts to the conference website (www.apcot2014.org). The submitted abstract will either beaccepted or rejected based on technical merits evaluated by peer reviewers. The accepted abstract might be reassigned to an oral or posterpresentation of appropriate topical session at the discretion of program committee.

Guidelines to Submit an Abstract■ Two-page, A4 standard abstracts are acceptable.■All the submitted abstracts should be prepared in strict accordance with Sample Abstract .■Acceptance of the abstract will be notified via e-mail to the corresponding author by March 15, 2014.■At least one author of each accepted paper must complete his / her registration by April 30, 2014.

Full Manuscript Submission

All authors with accepted contributions to APCOT 2014 are encouraged to submit full manuscript to a special or regular issue in one of thefollowing nominated international SCI or SCIE journals. The deadline of full manuscript submission will be July 2, 2014 only via onlinesubmission. The detailed information will be announced on the APCOT 2014 website soon.
