Objectives:

Analyze literature.

Analyze tone and imagery.

1. p. 1120: Do 4­7 and 9. Each should  be answered in 2­3 full, complete sentences. 

2. Make an outline for an argument essay  taking a position on whether 18 to 20 year olds should have to do mandatory public service (conscription).

Thesis:

6 pros  6 cons

Make a list of possible things (topics) you would need to research in order to support both the pros and cons. I want 4 things that you could research to back up your position.
