Pro-Life Mass and Nebraska Walk for Life— Saturday, January 18. The Nebraska Walk for life begins at 10:00 am at the north steps of the State Capitol. From there, we will walk to the UNL Student Union, where the Keynote Speakers, Jennifer and Jeff Christie, will speak at 11:30 am. They will tell their story of how they chose life for their son after Jennifer was raped. Pro-life info tables, baked goods and hot beverages will be available at the Union. Event concludes at 1:00 pm. If you would like to donate baked goods, you may bring them to the south steps of the Union starting at 8:00 am on the 18th or by prior arrangement. Giving Tree—Thank you to all who purchased gifts for the giving tree. Ninety four gifts were given to fourteen households. You helped make their Christmas much brighter. November food Drive—Thank you to all who donated food and money to be given to Catholic Social Services for distribution to those in need. 313 pounds of food and $345.00 in cash was received.

Joy and Hope Anniversary Recognition Mass and reception for all married couples will be held Sunday, February 9 at the 9:00 am Mass at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ. The Love and Responsibility Series continues with a talk on spiritual intimacy between spouses on Tuesday, January 14th at 7:00 pm at the UNL Newman Center.
