PART Ito get a better understanding of the screenplay and to know who

the characters are.

INT. Sandra Day OConnor High School- Cafeteria

Nancy, Glen, Rod, and Tina are sitting at the lunch table.

Nancy- That dream last night. Oh God.

Tina- What was it about?

Nancy- A man was after me with five bladed fingers and a scarred face.

Tina- Really? I had the same dream also!

Nancy- What? Really?

Tina- Yeah. He wore a red and green striped sweater and wore a brown fedora.

Nancy- In my dream it was raining and every time there was a lightening flash, Iwould see his face, his real face, his human face.

Tina- All I saw was his scarred face. Did any of you two have that dream? (To Glenand Rod)

Glen and Rod- No.

Glen gets a text message.

ON SCREEN:

NEW TEXT MESSAGE

ROD:DO IT NOW!

Glen starts texting back.

Nancy- I was so freaked out.

Glen- Well Nancy, I know something that will make you feel better.

Nancy- Whats that?

Glen gets up from the table and kicks his chair back.

Nancy- Glen, what are you doing?

Glen- Nancy, I want you to know.

Nancy- (Laughing) What?!

Nancy starts to laugh and blush.

Nancy- Glen.

Glen- Was in the springAnd spring became the summerWhove have believed youve come along

The kids in the cafeteria start clapping. Glen jumps on top of the table and grabsNancys hands.

Glen picks up Nancy and kisses her fully on the lips. Rod and Tina applaud, as doeseveryone in the cafeteria.

Pierce walks into the cafeteria.

Pierce- SON OF A BITCH!

Pierce charges at Glen.

Nancy- Pierce NO!

We see Pierces fist fly towards the screen.

We cut to instant black. (He has apparently punched Glen in the face and knockedhim out)

INT. Sandra Day OConnor High School- Nurses Office 2:30 P.M.

We Fade In, in Glens POV, as Rod takes the icepack off Glens face.

Rod- Oww. You OK man?

Glen rolls his eyes and moans in pain touches his face.

Glen- Yeah. I feel like I got hit by a bus. What happened?

Rod- You didnt get amnesia did you?

Glen- No. All I remember is singing then I blacked out. Who was I singing to?

Rod- Nancy.

Glen- Oh God. Did she hit me?

Rod- No. She was actually getting wooed by you. You got on top of the lunch tableand started singing to her.

Glen- Oh God, I fell off the lunch table and hit my head didnt I?

Rod- No.

Glen- Oh, well did I-

Rod- No you didnt. Now can you shut up and let me tell you what happened?

Glen- Oh, sorry. Go ahead.

Rod- Well you wooed her and she got on top of the table with you and the two of

you started making out.

Glen- Then how the hell did I get- Did I touch her ass and she hit me in the head?

Rod- NO! LET ME TELL YOU!

Glen- Oh, ok, sorry. Keep going.

Rod- So the two of you were making out and then Pierce entered the cafeteria, sawyou and-

Glen- Hit me in the face.

Rod- NO LET ME- Hey wait, thats what happened.

Glen bites his lip.

Glen- That son of a bitch.

Glen gets up, but Rod stops him.

Rod- Yeah, dont go after him. You dont stand a chance.

Glen- You can come with me.

Rod- Ha! Hell no! I dont want to get my ass suspended from school!

Glen- Suspended?

Rod- Yeah. Pierce got suspended. Now you have a better chance of getting withNancy. She likes you, or she wouldnt have made out with you.

Glen- I guess so. You really think that-

Rod- I know so. Trust me.

Glen- I heard that before. I guess your right.

Rod- I am right.

Glen- Youre always looking out for me arent you?

Rod- Thats what friends do.They bump fists.

INT. Sandra Day OConnor High School- Mr. Turners English Class

Glen and Rod enter the room.

Mr. Turner- AH! Finally you two come. Hurry take your seats.

Mr. Turner looks at Glen.

Mr. Turner- Oooo. Looks like you got hit by a bus.

Glen- Yeah. Thanks.

Glen and Rod walk to their seats.

Glen passes by Nancys desk.

Glen- Hey.

Nancy smiles slightly and turns away.

Glen frowns slightly but keeps moving and sits down at his desk.

Mr. Turner- Ok, now back to our story, Where Are You going, Where Have You

Been? Can anybody give me an allusion to this story?

Nancy raises her hand.

Mr. Turner- Yes Miss. Thompson.

Nancy-In the story, the antagonist Arnold Friend can be seen as the Devil trying todeceive Connie, which symbolizes humanity.

Mr. Turner- How so?

Nancy- Well, the devil for one part has the Mark of The Beast, 666. As does ArnoldFriend, his isnt 666 though, it is 33, 19, 17.

Mr. Turner- Mmm hmm. Very good observation. Anything else?

Mr. Turner looks around in class, nobody has their hands up.

Nancy raises her hand again.

Mr. Turner- Is Miss. Thompson the only one that read the story?

The class is silent.

Mr. Turner- Alright then, Miss. Thompson?

Nancy- Connie also mentions the word hell a lot in the story which shows how sheis falling into Arnolds trap.

Mr. Turner- Great! But there is one really important thing. His car, what is written

on his car?

Glen- His name?

Mr. Turner- Correct! Finally someone other than Miss. Thompson! Can someonetell me what is peculiar about this?

Rod- Yeah! What kind of idiot has to put his put his name on his car so he canremember what car is his!?

The Class laughs.

Mr. Turner- Hahaha. No. Get out a piece of paper and write out the name Arnold

Friend. In all capital letters.

Mr. Turner writes it on the board.

Mr. Turner- Ok, now scratch off the letter R in both Arnold and Friend.

The class does it and so does Mr. Turner.

Mr. Turner- AN OLD FIEND. That can refer to the Devil. Am I right?

The class nods.

Mr. Turner- Now notice that when Arnold Friend says Christhe says it as a curseword. Showing that he hates Christ and, that the power of Christ can compel himaway.

The bell rings.

Mr. Turner- Ok everybody! I want you to read this again tonight because tomorrowwe are going to have a quiz. And I expect all 100s on it. Ok, you are dismissed.

Everybody packs up and leaves. Glen is going to go talk to Nancy, but she walk outof the class fast.

Glen turns to Rod.

Glen- Ill just call her tonight.

Rod- Yeah, that should work.

INT. Lantz House- Lukes Room

Luke is asleep on the bed. We are seeing flashbacks ofNightmare Part I.

Freddy slashes at us, laughs in an evil tone.

Luke wakes up and is breathing heavily.

Luke- He is close. Too close.

Luke gets off the bed and goes to the closet and gets an old dusty box and pulls outa four bladed finger glove, the fifth blade had been shot off by Jesse.

FLASHBACKLuke, Jesse, Tad, and Cherry going back inside the house, Luke finds the glove andthe broken off blade.OUT OF FLASHBACK

Luke holds the bladed glove.

Luke- You just never go away do you? Always going to be here, torturing me. Yousaid you were going to come back. And when you come back, Ill send you back toyour grave you piece of shit.

Luke gets the bladed glove and puts it in the trash can outside and goes back inside

the house.

We see Glens Nissan Altima Coupe drive up to the house. As he passes by the trashcan falls to the ground.

Glen- Shit.

Glen parks the car, gets out, and walks to the trash can and starts to put the trashback into the trashcan, when he finds the bladed glove. Glen holds it in his handand he finds the severed blade. Glen puts the glove inside his backpack and goesinside the house and goes up to his room. He gets out his cell phone and calls upNancy.

Nancy- Hello.

Glen- Hey Nancy, its Glen.

Nancy- Hey.

It is silent for a little bit.

Nancy- Hey we need to- you first-Glen- Hey we need to- you first-

The two laugh.

Glen- Ill say it.

Glen laughs.

Glen- About that kiss today, I was just wondering if you know we can go on a datesometime or-

Nancy- Glen. I- I made up with Pierce.

Glen frowns.

Glen- Oh. Ok. Hey I gotta go.

Nancy- No wait Glen.

Glen- Nah- I got to go.

Nancy- Glen.Glen hangs up the phone and throws it to the ground.

Glen- DAMN IT!

Glen hits himself in the stomach repeatedly.

Glen- If you can stand this pain, you can stand anything.

Glen continues to hit himself and after a while he stops and lies down on the bed.

Glen- Why cant? Why cant I ever get the girl that I like? Is that too much to ask!?WHY!?

Glen lies in silence on the bed, and then he starts to look at his backpack. Glen getsup from his bed and goes to his backpack and gets out the bladed glove with thesevered bladed finger. Glen holds it in his hand and then he puts it on. He moves hishand and looks at it. He then applies the severed finger to the glove and holds it inplace. Glen smiles.

Freddys Voice- Like the way it feels?

Glen is not scared of the voice; he acts as if it was a normal voice asking him aquestion.

Glen- Yeah, it feels good. There is- Some sort of strange feeling with it on. But itsnot a bad feeling. Its a good feeling with it on

Luke is walking in the hallway.

Glen- I feel like anything can be mine. That I am in complete contro-

At that moment, Luke enters the room and sees Glen with the bladed glove.

Luke- Why in the hell are you wearing that glove?

Glen turns around and stares at his father.

Glen- Why do you care?

Luke- Why are you wearing that glove? Take it off.

Glen- No. It feels good. It gives me a feeling of power, strength, that anything canbe mine.

Luke walks toward Glen.

Luke-Is this about Nancy?

Glen glares at Luke.

Glen- Leave me alone.

Luke- Glen lets talk about it. Shes only-

Glen- Leave me alone! Do you want to hear it in a different language? How aboutthis? Degame solo!

Luke steps forward and Glen turns away.

Glen- Its actually pronounced dejame solo.

Glen turns back to Luke.

Glen- Shut up and go away.

Luke walks over to Glen.

Luke- Look Glen, there will be other girls.

Glen- Is that what you said when mom left you?

Flashback:We see Elises dead body outside in the street from Nightmare Part I.

We take a little bit of a flashforward:Luke is talking to a two year old Glen.Luke- Your mom left us after you were born.

Luke- What did you just say?

Glen- You heard me.

Glen slides the blades together. Luke is staring deeply at Glen, trying to find whereall this anger is coming from.

Luke- Take that glove off.

Glen- No.

Luke- Take that glove off now damn it!

Glen- The only way you are going to get this glove off me is

Glen (Freddys Voice )- by taking it off my dead lifeless hand.

Luke blinks and instead of seeing his son Glen, he sees the scarred faade of FreddyKrueger. Luke charges at Glen/Freddy and starts to choke him.

Luke- Die Krueger!

Freddy starts laughing.

Freddy- Thats it keep taking out your revenge! LET YOUR ANGER FLOW!

Luke is still only seeing Freddy.

Freddy- HAHAHA! YES! YES!

We then start to see glimpses of Glen.

Glen- Dad! Dad! Dad! Its me Glen.Freddy- Its me FREDDY! HAHAHA! You are going to kill me just like the way I killedyour sweet precious Elise? The only thing is that she put up a hell of a fight.

We see Freddys eye sparkle leading to a flashback.

FLASHBACK:INT. Elise and Lukes House: San Antonio, Texas; November 1990

Elise is running away from Freddy and she goes outside and into her car. The carroars to life. Elise backs up as Freddy slashes the tire. The car goes haywire as sheloses control and crashes into a tree, causing Elise to get knocked out. Freddy walksover to the wreaked car and laughs. We see that it starts to smoke from the hood.

Freddy opens the gas tank and ties a rope to it. Freddy moves away from thewreckage and lights the rope on fire. Elise starts to come to. She smells the smokeand sees that the hood is smoking; she then looks to the back and sees Freddywaving. Freddy points down to the rope on fire. Elise sees the rope and tries to getout of the car. She kicks the door open and starts charging at Freddy. Freddy backsup and starts to smile.Elise- Get over here you sick bastard son of a bitch!Freddy continues to back up and smile.Elise- What are you smiling about?Freddy with his bladed glove points back at the car.Elise turns around. The car blows up and one of the parts flies and impales Eliseright between her breasts. Elises eyes widen. She falls to her knees. Freddy laughs

and grabs Elise by her neck and starts to choke her. Freddy starts to laughpsychotically. We hear Elises neck snap and Freddy drops her limp, lifeless body tothe ground.OUT OF FLASHBACK

Luke- Thats how you killed her?! YOU SICK SON OF A BITCH! Ill have the pleasureof killing you now!

Freddy- Yeah! DO IT!

Glen- Dad! ITS ME! GLEN! DAD!

Luke starts to hear Glen talking to him.

Glen- DAD! DAD! ITS ME! GLEN! DAD!

Freddy- Dont listen to him! ITS ME! FREDDY! I KILLED YOUR LITTLE BITCH OF AWIFE!

Luke gets back to Glen being Freddy and he squeezes tighter. Glens legs aretwitching, his eyes are rolling around.

Glen- Dad. Dad. Daaaaddd. Its meeee Gleeeen.

Glen, with all the strength he has left in him reaches down.

Glen- Daaddd. Dadddd. Daaddd. Ittts meee. ITS GLEN!

Glen with all his strength racks Luke in the groin. Luke falls back.Freddy- FUCK!

Freddy dissappears. Luke is rolling on the ground rolling in pain. Glen takes off theglove and throws it and runs over to Luke.

Glen- Dad? Dad? What did you-?

Luke- Glen? Where is he? Where is he?

Glen- Who?

Luke looks around confused as if wondering where he was. As if he had been

unconcious the entire time.

Luke- No one.

Glen- You mention someone named Kreuger. Who is that?

Luke- No one.

Luke gets up.

Luke- Ill leave you alone.

Luke leaves the room.

Glen- Dad wait!

The door slams shut.

Luke is outside Glens bedroom in the hallway, Luke falls to his knees and he cupshis face in his hands.

Luke- Damn it! Hes coming back. That son of a bitch is coming back.

FADE OUT
