a Voluntary service Camp

during the “Biswa Dooars Utsav

– 2019 - 2020” at the N. F.

Railway Stall, from 29.12.2019

to 07.01.2019. The Rovers

Rangers and Unit Leaders from

this division are deputed to

perform service there.

Re-Usable Cloth Distribution

To celebrate the new year Master Da Surja Sen Rover Crew of

Bharat Scouts and Guides, Alipurduar Division of N. F. Railway

State Bharat Scouts and Guides organize a Re – Usable Cloths

Distribution Program at Garam Basti, Alipurduar Junction on

01.01.2020.

In this program the Rovers of the Crew also demonstrate and

explain the benefits of Blood Donation through showing hand

made posters related to blood donation

National Youth Day

National Youth Day is

celebrated on 12 January

being the birthday of

Swami Vivekananda. In

1984 the Government of

India declared this day as

National Youth Day and

since from 1985 the event

is celebrated in India every

year.

National Youth day on

12.01.2020 was jointly

celebrate by Khudiram

Bose Cub Pak and

Mother Teresa Flock of

Alipurduar Division, of

NF.Rly Bharat Scouts and

Guides by organizing a

seat and draw

competition for

the cubs and

bulbuls.

National Youth Day also celebrate by the Bhagat Singh Crew of

Bharat Scouts and Guides Alipurduar Division on 12.01.2020. The

members of the crew with their leader gathered at Divisional Scout

Hut and started their program by giving tribute to Swami

Vivekananda. After that they visited the local areas to motivate and

also suggested the children's to concentrate on their studies because

they are the future of our India.

from Railway H. S.

School to Uttar Jitpur.

The route of the hike

around 12 Km up and

down.

The Scouts were

prepared food for

their patrol members

by back woodsmen

cooking and pitch tent

for their staying.

Organize Nukkad

Natak on

Railway Safety

A Contingent of Bharat Scouts and Guides Alipurduar

Division was deputed to organize a Nukkad Natak or

Street Drama in connection with GM inspection at

Kamakhyaguri Railway Station on 03.01.2020.

At 16.46 hrs Honourable Patron N. F. Railway Bharat

Scouts and Guides and General Manger, N. F. Railway

Shri Sanjeev Roy landed at the station with a special

train. After that Asstt. District Secretary Shri Prasanta

Bandopadhyay welcome him by presenting flower

bouquet and Scout Scarf. Then the contingent of BSG,

APDJ perform the Nukkad Natak in front of GM, N. F.

Rly and other officers. After the inspection of the station

by Honorable GM / NFR the contingent return by the

Special Train.

Pulse Polio

Immunization

Pulse Polio is a immunization

Campaign established by the

government of India to eliminate

poliomyelitis (Polio) in India

The Project Fights through

a large scale, Pulse

vaccination program and

monitoring for

poliomyelitis.

So, A volunteer Service

Republic Day of India Was observed by Alipurduar

Division of N. F. Railway State Bharat Scouts and Guides on

26th

Jan 2020 by participating the March Past with the RPF

and RPSF Platoons at DRSC Ground, Alipurduar Jn. A Patriotic

Dance also perform by the Scouts and Guides of this Division.

One Guide, Awarded by President (DRM) of Alipurduar

Division, NFRBSG for getting the 4th

Position at National level

Karate Championship. A Scout also demonstrate various

technical electronic innovative items made by himself and get

awarded by the president.

leader distributed lunch Packets among

the needy peoples of the Alipurduar

surrounding area.

our food. If done

right, agriculture,

forestry and

fisheries can

provide nutritious

food for all and

generate decent

incomes, while

supporting people-

centered rural

development and

protecting the

environment.

Distribution of

Lunch Packets

This is the first time when Alipurduar Division started

a Monthly Magazine called Pragati. Every member of

this division get a chance to participate the quiz

competition every month. Your answer along with

your recent passport size photograph should reach us

before 20.02.2020 by email (bsgapdj@gmail,com). The

names and photos of first three lucky winners with

correct answer will be published in the magazine of

the month of February 2020.

Republic Day 2020

National Integration Camp,

Sikkim

National Integration Camp to commemorate 150

year of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi was held at

Sikkim from 25.01.2020 to 29.01.2020. to

participate the camp from N. F. Railway State,

Alipurduar Division of Bharat Scouts and Guides was

selected to participate.

All the activities were participated by the contingent

and they secured various positions in different

competitions.

Observe Constitution Day

Constitution Day was observed by Alipurduar Division by

participating in a Peace March from DRM Office to

Alipurduar Jn. Railway Station on 31.01.2020. Total 26

Scouts Guides Rovers Rangers Unit Leaders was

participated the program with the Honorable ADRM of

APDJ and the other branch officers of this division.
