SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH NEW CARLISLE, OHIO
From the Pastor’s Desk Dear Parishioners, When I heard of Fr Paul Vieson’s death, at first I was shocked. After praying for his soul, I became happy for him. Before he died, he assured me the suffering and inconvenience he was undergoing I would never want in a million years. He had other humorous things to say that should not be put to print. We will miss him terribly. But do not think him dead or inaccessible. Talk to him. Ask him for advice. Maintain your relationship with him until the day we can see him face to face. Several parishioners have expressed their desire to build a Father Paul memorial here. Please forward your ideas to the parish council so we may decide on a course of action that will give greater glory to God, veneration to Mary, and a fitting tribute to the fatherhood our dear friend shared with us Sunday after Sunday these many years. Fr. Hummel
