Each two-day session consists of training in the Chicago area. Sessions will be scheduled a couple of months apart to allow for ease of scheduling for our registrants. SESSION 2 IS ACCEPTING REGISTRANTS NOW! Sessions 2 will consist of lecture with a greater devotion of time to live demonstration. These two sessions will be in a clinical setting and will have limited registration (first 40 doctors), with registrants who attend Session 1 having priority. Kevin Boyd, DDS, MSc, is a board-certified pediatric dentist practic- ing in Chicago. He is also an attending instructor in the residen- cy-training program in Pediatric Dentistry at Lurie Children’s Hospital where he additionally serves as a dental consultant to the Sleep Medicine service. He is currently a visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania doing research in the areas of anthropology and orthodontics. Edmund Lipskis, DDS, MS has over 5,000 hours of post-graduate education in the fields of orthodontics, TMJ dysfunction, sleep related breathing disorders and chronic pain therapies. He has traveled worldwide to study with some of the leaders in these fields. His commitment to learning continues today. Dr. Lipskis has lectured internationally on the Phase Two treatment (via orthodon- tics) of chronic pain individuals. Drs. Ed and Lynn host a doctors course on Airway Focused Orthodontics in their office on an annual basis. He is well versed in all phases of orthodontics, including Damon passive ligation, Invisalign, and my functional orthodontics. Dr. Lipskis believes that orthodontics is an opportunity to take advantage of an individual’s growth potential to maximize the aesthetic outcome. He not only straightens teeth, he works to create beautiful, functional faces. Darius Loghmanee, MD, is the Director of the Advocate Children’s Sleep Network at Advocate Children’s Hospital. He did his postgrad- uate training at Rush University Medical Center where he completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and trained as a fellow in the Sleep Disorders Center. After his training he spent seven years at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago where he evaluated and treated children with control of breathing and sleep disorders.
