Outstanding Result of class XII

Our Toppers Carry Forward the Legacy of Excellence Class XII students from AIS 46 proved their academic excellence by showing outstanding result in Board exam con-ducted in March 2017. . Anshika Pradhan topped the Science stream by scoring 98.4% along with Nitya Chopra who topped Commerce stream with 98.4%. Ashika Bothra topped the Humanities stream with 97.2%. Out of 226 students who appeared in the 12

th board exam in 2017, 25 students scored 100% marks in various subjects which is 11% of the

total number. The School Principal Mrs.Arti Chopra congratulated the toppers and their parents for their great success. She also appreciated the teachers for their constant guidance to the students. Manpreet Singh a student of Humanities stream suffering from learning disability scored as high as 92%marks in Painting and 83% in aggregate..

Congratulations to Our Star Achievers ! The students of Amity International school, Sector-46, Gurugram proved their mettle once again by performing brilliantly in class X CBSE examination this year. Amitians made their alma mater proud by achieving100% percent result as per the class 10

th results declared on June 02, 2017 by CBSE. Out of 356 students, 148 students

scored perfect CGPA 10. An exceptionally high number of 10 CGPA‟s and number of students scoring above 90% in the aggregate is definitely a moment of pride for the school. The students credited their success to the School Principal Ms. Arti Chopra for her inspiring efforts and to the team of dedicated teachers whose vigorous revisions , practice and remedial sessions paved the way for their achievements. AIS -46 RECEIVES INNOVATION IN TECHNOLOGY AWARD- 2017

Every year Amity Group of schools, under the able guidance of respected Chairperson Dr. Amita Chauhan, holds Innovation in Education Technology Awards for teachers to bring forth the involvement of technology in the new age classrooms. This year the competition was hosted by AIS- PV on 27 June and 28 June where the selected Amity teachers

from Science, S.St and Maths streams presented their lessons incorporating the new age classroom tools.

Ms.Shalini Agarwal from our school was the proud recipient of this award. Our team of dedicated and innovative

teachers got this award and made us proud.

Theatre Performance “From Page to Stage” Bedazzles Audience

Weekend Theatre Workshop concluded with a rocking stage show put up by our students on 28th May, 2017 in

Radhakrishanan Auditorium, Delhi Cant. Seventy students were a part of Theatre Workshop conducted by our school in summer break from 13

th May , under the guidance of Gaurav and Shaina Pahwa , theatre ex-

perts .Our young artists stole the show exhibiting their stage confidence and theatrical skills. This Grand Finale included An Adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, The Chronicles of Narnia, Elizabeth … from Virgin queen to Golden Ages, Jane Eyre and The Godfather. These rocking performances by our budding actors set the stage on fire and took the audience back into the realm of fantasy. Our students felt encouraged and were blessed with the presence of Chairperson Dr. Amita Chauhan. The program ended on a warm note by the school Principal Ms Arti Chopra applauding the students and thanking the parents for their wholehearted co-operation to make this theatre

workshop a grand success .


OUR STUDENTS BAG FIRST PRIZE IN ‟IGNITED SPIRIT‟

Amity 46, Gurgaon, has been a great proponent of creative ideas and artistic endeavours and has been setting bench mark not only in imparting quality edu-cation to the students but also devising innovative, fun-filled ways for teaching-learning process wherein theatre plays a very prominent role. A mega event – „Ignited Spirit‟ was held at Amity,Pushp Vihar.The performers truly set the stage on fire with their stupendous energy and exhilarating spirit. The eminent judge, Mr. Gaurav Pahwa just couldn‟t stop raving about the actors and their impres-sive acting skills .We got the first prize in the senior category with Devjyoti bag-ging the best actor award.

AIIMS CATALYST-2017

30 students of Amity Internatinal School, Sector 46, Gur-

gaon, got the opportunity to attend a workshop named

“Catalyst Medical Expo” under Parivartan program of

AIIMS, New Delhi. The workshop included lab visits and

igniting lectures, which were a scientific treat to the

young brains. Students were fascinated by the real pre-

served organs and demonstrations by the medical stu-

dents in anatomy lab, the efficacies of high technique

based instruments in physiology lab with various instru-

ments like-Grip dynamometer, Audio-Visual reaction time

etc. Quiz held on various topics helped students to explore their knowledge and orientations in medical field.

Amity International School,Sector-46,Gurgaon or-ganized “Camp Verano-2017” to keep children engaged during the summer vacations to hone the artistic skills of the children at the same time im-proving their physical fitness. The schools offered endless options from art & Craft, Cricket, Football, Sip &Bake, Computer Technology to drawing, mu-sic or dance sessions for the children. This innovative summer camp was planned for classes 1 to 8 from

qualities, discovering talents, enhancing confi-dence and aptitude vital non- academic skills such as the art of making friends, handling team. .On the final day of the camp there was a small get together of all the participants.. Six students from our school were a part of enriching experience Odyssey Of Mind –World Finals held at Michigan

State University, US from 23rd

May to 3oth May , 2017. Through this once in a life time experience the students

got an opportunity to compete with 800 participants from all over the world .They participated in Float & Banner ,

presented India‟s rich cultural heritage and won prize in the same. Kusum Grndhi, Joy Singh, Manan Gupta,

Anshul Shah, Kaishah Yadav, Manya Bijaniya along with Teacher in charge Ms Pooja Sharma experienced this

global venture.
