What started out as a vision of a chaplaincy corps for the South Sudan Army has become an army of faithful men, devoted to serving the Lord.

Over the years, the Lord has entrusted Far Reaching Ministries (FRM) with a greater reach into a nation locked in unending civil war. Through our years of operating in a war zone, we have been able to apply this knowledge in reaching the radical world of Islamic terror to rescue and support believers.

Our prayer is that we advance the Kingdom of God, to bring and win as many souls for Christ as we can.

The chaplains that FRM trains are men who are committed to God’s call on their lives. Their lives have been refined through many years of serving in unending war.

As one chaplain shared, “We have only one fear, that we will not reach our people with God’s love before they die without coming to know Jesus as their savior.”

GHOST OPERATIONSIn the last couple years, the Lord has expanded FRM to reach the radical world of Islam. This division of ministry is called Ghost Operations. It is intended to support the ministries of those working in predominantly closed Islamic countries, but also includes other nations where believers are experiencing persecution. We support pastors and missionaries, who are in the underground sharing, where the profession of faith has cost many believers their lives.

When most organizations are pulling out of war zones, God has called Far Reaching Ministries to take the Light into the darkest places in the world.

WOMEN’S BIBLE COLLEGEIn a country where the literacy rate is shockingly low among women, most live their entire lives without learning to read, and are not taught biblical principles for living godly lives. FRM uses this as a ministry opportunity to teach women to read utilizing the Bible. They not only learn a valuable skill; they are also discipled through God’s Word.

With so many young women who desire a greater knowledge of the Bible, the current FRM chaplain training base in Nimule, South Sudan, will one day become a college. This institution will be dedicated to educating future generations of young women. They will be taught biblical principles that not only impact their lives, but the lives of their children and grandchildren.

CHRIST’S CRUCIBLEAlready in the construction phase is a new school that we have named Christ’s Crucible. Located in Masindi, Uganda, Christ’s Crucible will be a safe haven for children to learn not only basic school requirements, but they will also be taught using a Christian curriculum. In addition, the children will be taught the foundation of living a life dedicated to the service of Jesus Christ. The school will welcome first through twelfth grade students.

TAKING THE LEGACY INTO THE FUTURELooking to the future, FRM hopes to solidify a legacy for teaching future generations about Jesus by building a university in South Sudan. This school, known as The Citadel, will be a symbol for the community that the Body of Christ is alive and well and the Gospel is being shared no matter what the future holds.

The school will be built using the basic design of a castle. The construction materials are readily available in the area—keeping the import of foreign goods to a minimum. This most basic construction method, while no longer relevant in most parts of the world, will stand the test of time as South Sudan continues to be in turmoil as the youngest nation in the world.

CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION

TAKING THE LIGHT INTO THE DARKNESS

As Christians, we have a responsibility to intercede when one part of the body of Christ is suffering. Having resources and key relationships established on the ground gives FRM a strategic advantage to provide an immediate response for critically needed food, medical supplies and most importantly, to support believers who are in crisis.

As believers, the most precious thing that we will ever handle is the human soul.

Remember those who are mistreated, since you also

are in the Body.

Of the ten most dangerous countries in the world, FRM ministers in six of them. Our areas of operations are for those oppressed by groups such as ISIS, Hezbollah, Taliban, Islamic Jihad, Hamas, PLO, Al-Qaeda, Islamic Brotherhood and others.

FRMA + RABUNA FI = WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Another facet of FRM is Far Reaching Ministries Aviation (FRMA). The heart of FRMA is to disciple women in the Word of God. We do this through the ministry outreach known as Rabuna Fi, which means “God is here” in Arabic. The heart of Rabuna Fi is to lead women to Jesus, and then, to disciple them. We begin with the basics of faith, followed by the foundational truths in the Word. These women have had difficult and often tragic lives.

Rabuna Fi provides literacy training and Bibles to each woman in the program. Income generation projects were also introduced and a tailoring school was established for the ladies to acquire the life skills needed for a better life.

Fruitful ministry comes only as others are led to the transforming work of the cross. Together, FRM and FRMA recognize that if Christ is not the center of all that is done, the labor is in vain.

Casa HorizonteThe Lord brought a new ministry opportunity to FRM closer to home through Horizonte Ministries in Ensenada, Mexico. Horizonte Ministries has taken on the monumental task of caring for abused and orphaned children by providing a home called Casa Horizonte. The home is dedicated to children who have been severely abused by their own parents and most suffer from mental and physical disabilities.

Through our donors, FRM is able to provide the necessary resources for specialized medical treatment for the children, along with adequate staffing, nutritional provisions, and love.

THE CITADELWe are at a unique time in history, where we have the chance to change the entire course of a nation. Much like General Patton in World War II, lacking the final resources to win the victory before him, I feel the same way with the work in South Sudan. WOMEN’S BIBLE COLLEGE Many of the women in South Sudan do not have an opportunity to receive a thorough and complete education in God’s Word, let alone literacy training. We are currently preparing the chaplains’ base to become the future Bible college for the ladies to receive a full education. It is our vision to see a generation of women who have the same passion, for the Lord, as the chaplains.
