The Dermalux Award for Aesthetic Medical Practitioner of the Year This award will recognise the aesthetic doctor, dentist, dermatologist or surgeon who is deemed to have contributed most to the profession and/or has provided the most outstanding care and treatment to their patients in the last 12 months. The winner will be judged on their clinical expertise, continuous professional development, commitment to patient safety and the difference they make to their patients, clinic and the profession as a whole. There will be no voting process and the winner will be decided by the judging panel. Important - Please check your entry carefully for accuracy, grammar and spelling as this information may appear in Aesthetics journal and on the Aesthetics websites as well as being considered as part of the judging process. There will be no opportunity to amend this once you have submitted your application online unless you pay a £100 plus VAT administration fee and this information is received before shortlisting has begun. (300 words) 11. Provide one specific patient case where you are particularly proud of the results. Include details of the case and outcomes, and upload before and after images as supporting evidence below (300 words) 12. Explain how you ensure that you maintain a high level of clinical expertise and give specific examples to show commitment to your personal professional development in the last 12 months. (300 words) 13. How do you ensure the best clinical care and follow up for your patients? Your answer should demonstrate the ways in which you put patient wellbeing and safety first, your qualifications and how you ensure that you work within your areas of expertise. You should also cover your methodology in managing complications. (300 words) 14. What do your patients say about you and the care that you offer? Provide up to three recent patient comments to support the evidence given above. Please note that if you are selected as a finalist, you may be required to provide contact details for these patients so that they can be contacted for comment by the Aesthetics team.
