Interviewing one of girls parents about her life and how she acted at home, little did they know she was mentally unstable.

Young teens dressed in all black clothes and gothic like make-up to signify they are all part of a group, following Mandson.

importance. • Close-up- audience’s faces covered in dark, black face paint.• Panning Shot of the crowds at Marilyn Manson’s concert. • Tracking Shot- following Marilyn around outside. For

Mise-En-Scene• Dark lighting on Marilyn Manson’s face, especially when

interviewing him. (very low-key) • There were three main building shown throughout this

documentary: Courtroom, Stadium, scene of crime. • The church shown in the programme was the nun’s church of

worship. You see the crime scene of were the killing took place, just outside the church .

• Marilyn Manson wore “Halloween” style like clothes: long black cape, black make-up, piercings, scary eye contacts with deep scars covering his face.

• Although Marilyn Manson was portrayed in a particular way to the viewers when shown performing in front of hundreds of fans, he is also portrayed to us as a just a normal man carrying out average day to day activities. For example: Going to McDonalds' with his family.

• The police surrounding Marilyn Manson’s stage when a crazed fan jumped on stage...she was soon to be arrested. Moreover, this shows the authority the police have.

Sound

• Voice Over narration throughout the whole documentary telling us there version of what really happened to the nun, the night of the killing.

• Choral, Depressing music.• Translation of language for the audience to understand. • Actress to play the three girls who came up with the plan

to attack the nun. You see them reading the distraught diary’s the girls made.

• Reconstruction- sound effects of murder.

Editing

• Juxtaposition of coral and rock music. (rebellious children and coral music being played at the same time)

• The main editing technique mainly being used is cuts.• Flashbacks.• Long take of priest travelling to see the girl in order to

have her confess for her sins.
