Making changes and adjusting to the times is something that our publication can do with ease, due to the fact that we have the experience. We plan on serving our clients to the best of our ability and of course we strive to perform in a manner that out shines our past results. Reducing our publication from 6 issues per year to 4 issues per year will give us more time to concentrate on our clients, projects, and of course producing more comprehensive write ups and stories through our publication.

This fourth year of our publication and public relations marketing agency demands that we expand in a manner that demonstrates our superior strategic thinking ability. Our associate agency Exquisite Express Inc. is also coming along with us and their magazine Exquisite Fusion Magazine will also be published 4 times a year. This will leave more room for creating, developing, and designing winning campaigns that focus on branding our agencies expertise.

Our change in publication distribution strategy will result in our publications being run from late fall and early winter, through the winter months. Late spring and early summer through the summer months will produce the second half of the publications issues.

Certainly our publications will not take a back seat to the work that is being done with our marketing, design, and public relations agencies. The publications are the reason why our firms are even in existence today. Our promise to our readers and subscribers is that we will now be able to produce a wider variety of content as well as distribute the content via our traditionally online and digital methods. We also have the capability to give our readers the chance to purchase print copies of our magazines that can be shipped and delivered to homes across the globe.

By Garland L. McLaughlin

Ms. Ayesha AMONEY Simmons is an incredible organizer in the entertainment industry. She is making her way by connecting with industry notables such as producer Mr. Keith Clizark, Lady Rerun daughter of Fred Rerun Berry, and Mr. Dave Tolliver of the R&B singing group Men At Large. As a promoter AMONEY has a habit of being very tenacious in getting the word out about what she wants everyone to know about. Ms. Ayesha AMONEY Simmons is far from lazy and a born go getter. She's genuine and trustworthy with a sense of morality, she's smart and doesn’t let anything overwhelm her ability to keep pushing to the top. After hearing Ms. AMONEY’s story about the tough times she had growing up and never letting obstacles stand in her way I knew that this was a woman that is no stranger to challenges. It was very disturbing to hear that growing up no one believed in her and people in her circle constantly doubted her ability to move forward in life as a productive woman. She has overcome the odds and is living life to the fullest as a very intellectual and ambitious woman making something of herself as a strong-willed survivor. I came across Ms. AMONEY one day on the popular social media network Facebook. She was in the process of organizing a meeting to get more young ladies interested in her venture to launch a modeling agency. Soon I began to see that she was constantly posting her news bulletins in multiple groups and pages that catered to people that lived in the Cleveland, Ohio area. I could tell that she was really working hard to spread the awareness and gain the attention that she needed in order to make the venture successful. Seeing this made me very interested in helping her succeed in reaching her goals.

Page 9: The Digital Conglomerate Magazine Inc - August 2012 Issue

It has become increasingly obvious that Ms. AMONEY Simmons has a lot going on these days and nothing is going to slow her down or stand in her way. Ms. AMONEY is very active in the community with her entertainment company Thick’emz Entertainment, her modeling ventures, as well as being an A&R for Mr. Tolliver’s recording label. I often wonder if Ms. Ayesha AMONEY Simmons even goes to sleep at all, it seems as if she never does.

When Ms. AMONEY is passionate about an idea or cause that is worth while she goes the distance and is passionate about the work that she is doing, and it shows. She also has a love for the people that she works with and has their back at every turn. This persistence couldn’t be more clear to me, even through the eyes of social media postings on facebook, twitter, and linkedin. AMONEY is not only becoming an expert in marketing through the voice of social media, but she is also continuously coming up with ideas to throw events in the Cleveland and New York areas. Every time that I think that AMONEY is going to be taking a little break and I am about to catch up with her she throws another curveball my way. She is constantly on the go and she has just recently relocated to the Niagara Falls, New York area to reunited with her husband who is being released after being wrongly convicted of a crime. AMONEY is a mother and grandmother as well, this also keeps her busy… She's Phenomenal, one of a kind, a woman pure and simple. “This woman is me. Take me as I am.”

The young lady known as Naomi Siren packs enough modeling unique star power to build up the awareness of most any daring and fashionable underserved brand. With her rebel style intersecting main stream abstractionism she will be a young talent to watch in the no so distant future. Naturally developing her own brand through poses of creative, but simplistic designs give her a glaring edge that fashion and artistic icons crave.

It is not enough being a young talent these days. Everyone has their own Youtube channel or Facebook page, but this doesn’t stop the mere mediocre from trying to steal the spotlight. Naomi Siren has a commodity that only Grunge Luxury can embrace and can be marketed as a commodity that goes far beyond simple social media marketing campaigns. These days most amateurs think they can get by with a lot of sex appeal without any substance. For new comers to the game the results are obvious and no one can seem to come up with original concepts to add to their portfolios. The lack of clever, crafty, and eccentric has proven to sell talent awareness in more cases than the bold, beautiful, and bluntly just plain sexually disgusting.

A little tasteful teasing isn’t too bad in my book and Ms. Siren provides just enough to grab the attention of her audience without looking trashy. There is a clear art form at work with this young woman and only the best of trained eyes can spot this quality. While others expect to see overly developed female body parts bulging out of swimwear Ms. Siren calmly reveals the style all her own accented with her tattoos on her leg. This element does its job and stands out clearly, painting a purely creative approach to modeling.

Who doesn’t like the curves and slim waistlines of models that have all the overly done up assets that boost their reputation? Most men and women lovers know the answer to that question, but sometimes find it hard to admit it. The style that Naomi Siren presents definitely won’t have you caught in an awkward situation defending your right to take a sneak peek and brief mental break to window shop her attributes. No her conservative, slim, and almost unrealistic outer shell in my opinion can be stated as being a canvas that is waiting for the right clothing line or product image to appear through her modeling efforts.

Daring to be different is something that a lot of us have a hard time doing, naturally Naomi Siren pulls it off in classic fashion. She is a model that reflects exactly what the photography lens is trying to say about who she is as an individual. Naomi Siren doesn’t just look like she wants to be the next model of fame and fortune, she looks like she actually enjoys what she is doing and not just trying to cash in for a big pay day. Her approach to helping further define the Grunge Luxury lifestyle is not only a testament for the models of today and now, but for future newcomers to see and realize that something which looks good has to also be done correctly.

The Progressive Cycle…By Garland L. McLaughlin

Summertime is a season when everything is alive… a little more of this and a little more of that. Sometimes people freely reveal body language and socially verbal communication that may seem to many as just chatter. Often in the digital age chatter can be confused with relevant conversation to ones life. Knowing and guarding personal boundaries sometimes just helps most folks just tune out the nonsense.

Not trying to sound like an elitist, but I was only trying to gather my thoughts when you began to pick up a conversation about some basketball game or something. Or certainly we have all run into the person at the gas station that wants to have a conversation with you while you are pumping your gas. Not far off from the truth, but the next step would be to just tune that person out and grab what is left of the simple Grunge Luxury that you were trying to enjoy.

It is very amusing to see through observation that people sometimes use their own little technology, gadgets and such, to create their own nasty little grunge luxury environment to avoid interacting with the real world. It has gone far beyond falling victim to the never ending game of Tetris blocks… the meeting couldn’t have been that long. Oh yes, and we have more elaborate tales that can be spun, because the technology blinds the onlooker from actually being able to see what it is you are doing. My personal belief is that open access communication technology requires users have a game plans. New school technology evolvers still seem to have a hard time keeping up and nothing gives technology more of a bad name than a user who doesn’t know how to operate their gadget.

Page 22: The Digital Conglomerate Magazine Inc - August 2012 Issue

The goal is that we all as human beings have a responsibility to do well with the technology that has been created, so that we can all communicate more efficiently. Using the technology that we have should be foremost a problem solver of common daily problems, but not a replacement for inner problems. Experiencing positive results through technology gives people empowerment. It is very hard to break an individual away from performing a particular action, via technology, if they are obtaining personal positive results. What works for some may not for others, but the true Grunge Luxury Lifestyle seeker is always analyzing personal developments, and accessing their true values.

With things looking greener all the time we can all use some advice… think more clearly about situations, body language, etcetera… and just be conscious to be friendlier. Developing the practice of being the Grunge Luxury Statesman of clearly defined style and intellect is a never ending improvement strategy that is self initiated. We all have our own healthy and clearly defined lifestyle communication practices.

DemandBase – Technology ReviewBy Garland L. McLaughlin (Consultingguy)

DemandBase isn’t just another fly by night tracking and analytics provider that keeps your attention on social media. No the secret behind this company does not rest in their ability to be less visual in order to produce a comfortable captain’s chair for an organization’s CMO and top strategic managers.

Putting the micromanagement in the hands of the microchip or in this case online back office application is the best solution. Businesses and organizations will change and grow accordingly as they begin to unweave the small complexities to maximize for greater opportunities.

It wasn’t to long ago that I was thinking that reviewing API and technology based companies can be a little boring on the surface. When the right cord is struck it can be very interesting in finding out the inside track as to what really makes companies like DemandBase tick.

Developing a team of professionals that don’t need to use special sales talk to sell their solutions is for certain a game changer. DemandBase, their team and solution stand alone and exude confident character.

LAYER 7Business Technology Review

By Garland L. McLaughlin (Consultingguy)

Layer 7 is the integrated API solution with a comprehensive visual marketing strategy. Making the right adjustments for a product or solution marketing strategy comes naturally through the use of back office reporting and detailed analytics. Companies and organizations that can easily assess their productivity or results have an easier time understanding the complexities of their business models.

Finding my way around the Layer 7 platform was easily all the way around the board. This turn key application commands an online hosted solution that is also accessible via mobile capabilities.

The Layer 7 business model, as well as their customer service and marketing teams are all in sync. I see this company making strides to brand and develop future technologies that level the playing field and give organizations the edge and Layer 7 depth that they need in order succeed in this digital age.

PayJunction – Technology ReviewBy Garland L. McLaughlin (Consultingguy)

It seems as if all the online payment gateway vendors all look the same. If a potential merchant wants to obtain a unique type of gateway platform and they only know about Paypal, then they most likely choose to work with Paypal. I myself would often only refer to using the services of Paypal until I came across PayJunction. I am totally amazed that this company looks like it actually has the process down to a science.

No more awkward looking payment gateways filled with logos of a company that really doesn’t represent your brand. Sure they might get the process complete for you and be able to send revenue to your back office, but how likely is it that the other company sends reminders automatically to their invoiced customers. Setting up the process alone gives me the impression that the PayJunction system has many back up and stop gap measures in place.

I know that their application process provides the neat service of sending users a reminder if they have not completed the application process. The reminder hits the users email account every so often with a link for them to continue and complete the application process. With the application it does not have to be redone every time, no way, the application picks up write where the user left off.

When all this isn’t enough a friendly independent merchant solution provider representative will politely contact you to help with any questions you may have. It just so happened that Daryl Perry my agent wants me to work with him to identify solutions and execute campaigns to gain more exposure for his PayJunction Agent portal. I’m already liking the business relationship that is coming out of working with PayJuntion.

Would You take It All Back?By Garland L. McLaughlin

When there are a couple of candidates with impressive histories sometimes it is hard to determine which candidate is the more experienced executive. The 2012 United States Presidential campaign is underway and everyone is paying close attention to see which candidates flaws will be overly exposed. Putting aside political bias and ideologies is easily done when results speak the truth to the people.

At best, well within the political scope of the candidacy, Mitt Romney can be noted as a less than favorable former governor of Massachusetts. With an impressive business career as an executive that has branded a business supply super chain, which is well known, has given Romney a bit of an edge in the past. Playing off this experience has allowed Romney to focus his campaign effort toward exposing the unhealthy state of the economy.

President Obama has done well despite the Republican Party’s criticism of the President’s lack of insight toward fixing the damaged and weakened economy. The track record of the President’s history is in its own way a legendary truth that is continually unfolding right now and within my lifetime. Proving through his leadership skills time after time again Obama has risen to the moment and brought together America one community at a time. I’m not trying to be judgmental or show any favoritism, but the only time I definitively can picture Mitt Romney as a leader in my mind was when helped bring the winter Olympic games back to America. Sure, we all remember that time when the games were held in Salt Lake City… and not in any city near, inside or around Massachusetts.

Well things aren’t always what they seem with politicians. Voters have always been able to see through the misquotes and rivalry antics, even if it was after the election. With all that has been going on in the past 3-4 years I’m surprised President Obama’s hair isn’t white now like former President Clinton’s is. Within the past 3-4 years Obama has led America through every obstacle one step at a time, as well as spear headed the end of the war in Iraq.

Republican Party members aren’t quick to point out that Mr. Romney stands to be known as one of the worst governors in Massachusetts history, in terms of productivity and fiscal responsibility. At the same time Mr. Romney was very quick to pick up and claim another state as his residency after his stint in MA.

Obama on the other hand seems to be making moves and stirring up progression leaving his rivals to resort to creating attack advertisements that are sharply disconnected from their audience. The Republican Party and attack ad sponsors really should come back to reality and applaud the restoration of confidence that has been put back into the business sector. American businesses as well as individuals have been hurting, and businesses have been using the American public as a cover for business interests… this doesn’t go over well with the public.

The message is clear that the old school conservatism based on fraud and deception is dying and the new message of racist undertones are now creeping into the picture, from the conservative point of view. The moderates are sticking to their positions and the liberals really just brand themselves as being unorganized. Each party and each candidate have their flaws, no one candidate is perfect. I think that one thing is clear… voters recognize the influential decision makers from the Wall Street executives. Voters are really against the idea of returning to an economy which resembles the conditions of 4 years ago.

From buses to trains, planes and automobiles when we travel no matter the distance there is a definite need to be as comfortable as possible. Even when we visit our local merchants, if there is a chance we will occupy space in a specific area longer than 30 minutes most people want to be comfortable in the space while they wait, so the service provider will be able to handle their needs. Time spent away from home should be as enjoyable as possible.Who wants to sit in a hard, stained, sticky chair or walk in a carpet that has surly seen better days? Business owners and professionals need to be in tune with who their clientele are and what they expect to find when visiting their establishment. From personal experience I am more inclined to visit/ revisit a business that is clean; this includes the restroom area and staff appearance. If workers appear to be happy they are more likely than not to provide excellent customer service. Untidy, out of order businesses tend to fail at retaining repeat customers or even worse… gaining potential customers.

While reading a popular retail supply magazine I took an interest in how they arranged the products they were selling. It was as if they had created a custom look for the readers of the publication to make all their own. This made me wonder about interior designers and their approach to projects, getting to know the clients needs, and fulfilling all the requirements of the space for the people who will ultimately be using it. Most people do not take the time to take in the art that is all around them. Often we take for granted the time, passion, persistence and hard work it took a team to manage the project. From start to finish with building codes in tact, measurements just right, and great finishes make their work stand out above the rest.I have talked to many interior designers and they always say they listen to what the client wants or needs. You can gather a pretty good idea of an individual’s style by entering their home or work space. If a person is neat and tidy they will appreciate custom creations like closets, mud rooms, and outdoor arrangements too.

There is lots of research and skilled work that goes into a design project. It’s not all simple fun and games like popular shows such as HGTV portray it to be. Don’t get me wrong I am an avid watcher of the network, because they offer great insight on anything from home purchasing to renovation, but in the real world there is much to be done on any size project when you are dealing with a real professional. They will never cut corners to get the job done. Always ask around to check the designers credentials. Ask to see pictures of their work. Complete with before and after photos, so you know it is their authentic work. Also go online if they have a website or facebook page browse through it thoroughly so you have a pretty good idea of what the designer’s style is and what limitations they may or may not have. Remember to be smart and look smart at all times, because it could be a defining factor in how well or unwell you do in your business practices.

Mr. Herb Bias is one of the most talented photographers that I have seen in recent years. I was very excited to finally get a chance to interview him and review his creative masterpieces. The work that he is doing in Cleveland is spreading all across the US and rapidly his name is becoming a household name. I first wanted to know how did Mr. Bias come to have an interest in the artistic world of photography? Mr. Bias answered, “While I was working at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation I was taking classes at Cleveland State University were I majored in Business. One day during lunch I sat at a table where another student had a camera, back then it was a 35mm film cameras, he told me he was taking a photography course to fill out some credits so I thought I would do the same, after the first class I was hooked.” It seems Mr. Bias always had a creative side even as an early child. “I was always an artist when I was a child I would draw comic book characters all day long, so I think its just the love of the art of creating. Every image is absolutely different from the previous one, and there are NO limits to the creativity. If you dig in deep you get that WoW every time.”

Page 41: The Digital Conglomerate Magazine Inc - August 2012 Issue

HPB – 138 Negative Degrees

Mr. Bias has been working his craft for about 25 year now… “Give or take a few months, 22 professionally,” and he doesn’t look like he will be slowing down anytime in the foreseeable future. I also asked Mr. Bias if there were any unique projects that he has worked on before and what were they? Mr. Bias answered, “A shoot I did for an American base distributor, I did some illustration images of speakers and amplifiers it was pretty challenging because 99% of the time I photograph people, and it was unique for that same reason.”

With all his talent I also wondered if Mr. Bias traveled to other locations to photograph clients and events. I asked Mr. Bias did he travel or is most of his work done from his professional studio? “98% from the studio, I did a lot more traveling and location shoots years ago, now days peoples budgets don't seem to be able to cover that extra expense, and here in Cleveland the market is very small now, many of the commercial industries that were here that needed and could afford that service no longer market in Cleveland, the city is 40% smaller in population than it was just 15yrs ago, and that is a huge fall off.” “I plan to re-locate in a couple of years to a better market when my daughter is done with college, Atlanta, North Carolina, Chicago, I'm not sure. But I do know I want to move if not just to experience a different city, I have live here all my life. I wanna continue to advance my skills with the post production of imagery because this has become the difference maker in this industry,” Mr. Bias Stated.

Page 42: The Digital Conglomerate Magazine Inc - August 2012 Issue

As a quick question that peaked my interest I was curious to know if Mr. Bias preferred photographing landscapes over people or vice versa? Mr. Bias answered, “I like both, and would favor landscapes/scenic, how ever I am a photographer of people simply because this is how I keep the lights on.” The high quality of Mr. Bias’s work says it all… “Quality and Detail, and that has a lot to do with my post production editing abilities, and before digital I owned my own printing lab so I always had high quality.” Even for this interview Mr. Bias wanted to make sure that I had access to photos that impress the audience and paint a picture of perfection, and I admire that. I think he was a little surprised to hear me say that I admire all his work and there was nothing shabby about any of his photos at all. From Mr. Bias’s work ethic I can tell that he really doesn’t have time for silly games that some potential clients may play. I asked Mr. Bias to just give an example of a potential client that he refused to work with due to some conflicts. “Oh yes, I had a potential client that I never met in person and never had any prior business with, who thought he had sovereignty over me, he decided that he would determined how the payments would go for my business, this was a red flag for me as to what kind of headaches he would bring to the project so I turned it down. My mother taught me long time ago that some money ain’t worth having and I believe that to this day.” Lastly, I asked Mr. Bias did he have any aspirations of working with a particular person, people, or places in the world. Mr. Bias answered, “I would love to go to Africa and shoot some of the people from different parts of the continent in their traditional dress, and ritual garments, I think they are the most beautiful people on the planet.”
