How We Make a Difference
Ground FloorThe Ground Floor is where it all starts. Your chance to rise above your current economic status begins with filling out our application and going through a selection and interview process. Once a participant is accepted, we take time to sit down and map out their elevator ride and which floors they’ll need to stop on along the way.
The RideThe next three floors of your journey
First Floor: In-Field TrainingOn the First Floor, you receive hands-on training in the field of your interest through apprenticeship opportunities. We believe in-field training is very important because the concept of "learning by doing" is crucial to a successful future.

Second Floor: Hard Skills TrainingThe Second Floor allows you to attend weekly classes in an effort to gain a certification in a trade of your choosing. Earning a certification will increase your potential jobs salary by 6-fold.

Third Floor: Soft Skills TrainingAfter going through all of the aforementioned floors, The Elevator Project team diligently works to develop and improve your soft skills on the Third Floor. This particular type of skill set encompasses personal traits and qualities that shape how effectively you communicate and interact with others and our three part program helps you maximize and yours.

Fourth Floor: Job PlacementYou are almost to the top! On the Fourth Floor, you are partnered with our mentors and advisors to help support your final steps in finding a full-time job. From resume critique and support to interview practice sessions, we’re here to help walk you through each step of the way.
The RooftopYou’ve made it! From the Rooftop you are now on your way to making a higher income and raising your economic status. But before you move onto bigger and better things, don't forget that "it's your responsibility to send the elevator back down.” Many of our participants pay it forward by becoming a mentor and helping others who are going through the program and want to learn the same trade.
