The Fault in Our Stars Sound track by Layne Conrad

Gone Gone Gone, Phillip Phillips

I found that this song represents the book very well since Augustus and Hazel basically said they would love each other to infinite which kind of sounds like the lyrics of this song. I also found that this song represents Augustus and Hazel's relationship very well since they would never give up on each other.

Arms, Christina Perri

I chose this song to be part of my soundtrack because some of the lyrics are "You put your arms around me and I'm home." Which sounds like something Hazel would say to Augustus when when they're laying in bed together.

Oblivion, Bastille

I found that this song represented the book very well since the title is called "Oblivion" and Augustus said his biggest fear was the oblivion at the beginning of the book. Also, I can picture this song being played while Augustus is very sick and Hazel is trying to keep him alive.

The fault in our stars song, Troye Sivan

The title of this song is pretty obvious on why I picked it. This song is basically the whole book in a song which is something I love. The lyrics explain every little event that happens in the book— even the very sad parts like when Hazel is in the Hospital or when Augustus is sick at the gas station.

Amsterdam, Imagine Dragons

I chose this song because Augustus, Hazel and Hazel's family all went to Amsterdam as soon as Hazel was released from the hospital. Also, lots of important things happen in Amsterdam which is also why I chose this song.

Chasing Cars, Snow Patrol

This song is part of my soundtrack because it sounds like a song that would be playing while Hazel is thinking about Augustus after his funeral. And it sounds like a song that would fit the scenario very well while Hazel is laying in her bed and looking at pictures of Augustus.

Let It Be, The Beatles

I chose this song because it sounds like a song that would be played at Hazel's cancer group at the local church at the beginning of the book. Augustus called the church basement "The Heart Of Jesus" which also made me think if this song being part if the soundtrack.
