The battle of the Cowpens was the turning point in the revolutionary war and it wasn’t even planned ,the continental forces led by brigadier general Daniel Morgan won the battle of cow pens and raised morale for the continental army to take the full offensive and win the revolutionary war

President Jefferson bought the Louisiana territory from napoleon Bonaparte thus in creasing the USA land mass

THE PONY EXPRESS 1860 -1861

The pony express was the mailing service of the late 1800s unlike trains at the time which were only at the northern states of the union the pony express went cross country and it would only take 10 days to get from New York to California

The transcontinental railroad exceeded where the pony express lacked it took 6 years to make and it crossed the entire length of America the final spike was nailed in promontory summit Utah hammered in by president grant him self
