#3 Sawm - Fasting

• No food, drink, smoke, sex from dawn to dusk during Ramadan.

• Exemptions and concessions made for the very old, very young, infirmed, or if you are on a journey.

• Families eat together after sunset.

#4 Zakat - Charity

• Zakat means to purify • 2.5 percent of surplus wealth over a period of

one year.

#5 Hajj – Pilgrimage to Mecca• Mandatory if you are able (health and means)
