4 May EYP officials announce that the GCS EYP delegation has been selected to participate in the European Parliament National Session in August 2014.
6 May The GCS Girls’ Futsal team wins the Silver Medal in the Interschool Girls’ Futsal Competition 2014.
7 May The following students excel in the Interschool Biathlon Games 2014: Takkos George Gold Medal, Takkou Tereza Bronze Medal
13 MayAngelo Odysseos of Form 6 is awarded a full scholarship by the U.S. Embassy to participate in the 2014 Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellows Summer Programme in Washington, D.C.
15 May Having participated in the Accounting Olympiad 2014, Elena Philippou and Anna Georgiou of Form 6 are both awarded the Silver Medal.
16 May The Director and the members of the Stelios Hadjipetris Foundation Council organise their 7th Annual Charity Dinner, the purpose of which is to raise money for scholarships awarded by the Foundation.
18 MayStudents of Form 3 together with their teachers, Ms Georgia Efstathiou, Ms Iria Petrou and Ms Frangesca Pieri, attend the Greek stage production of George Orwell’s Animal Farm at Theatro Ena. The students covered the English novel this year in their Literature syllabus.
27 May The following students excel in the Mathematics Olympiad 2014 organised by the Cyprus Mathematical Society: Aspris Constantinos Silver Medal, Aza Nayia -Silver Medal and Mikeou Adonis Bronze Medal.
